  • Such a lovely time

"We had such a lovely time. We will definitely be returning. We all wish we were still sitting in the courtyard of our apartment eating our breakfast every morning! Thank you so much for your prompt assistance with everything! It was great. Your location cannot be beat!"

  • Wonderful First Visit to Paris

"My entire family came to see Paris for one week. No matter how hard we worked and tired we grew at "seeing everything," we had this wonderful apartment to return to. Six of us (four adults, two teens) fit wonderfully into the space. The bathrooms were configured so that two people could close separate doors and have showers at the same time. Every morning we used the kitchen and large table to drink coffee and eat croissants. And while the weather was cool the first few days (we needed jackets in July), when it warmed up, the air conditioning was welcome. The best part was the location. The street was never swarming with tourists, and within a very short walk, we could be at the gardens or on the metro. So if you want a wonderful apartment, sparkling clean, centrally located, you should try to rent this one. One final plus: Sophie or Phillipe always answer emails promptly and clearly."

  • Felt like I was living in Paris not just visiting

"I rented through AirBnB but due to spotty internet while I travelled after Paris I missed the window for commenting on this apartment. The apartment is in a perfect location. I walked to the Musee Rodin, the Musee D'Orsay, shops, galleries, bistros. A short trip on the Metro to the Champs Elysee and the Bateau Mouche. The apartment was fully equipped. I agree with a previous poster that you have to be aware that the elevator starts on what Americans would call the 2nd floor. However, the apartment manager Elsie helped me at arrival and at departure with my large, heavy suitcase. In between the location of the elevator was not a problem. The only thing I would suggest is the addition of a step stool. I am a very short senior citizen who could not reach the upper cabinets of the kitchen but that wasn't a big deal either. The ceilings are high with the original beams that are at least 200 years old. I would love to rent this apartment again. I highly recommend this apartment, the host and the apartment manager to make you feel as though you are living in Paris, not just visiting."

  • Relaxing Respite

"Staying in the Heart of St. Germain provided a relaxing respite from the pace of Paris. We appreciated the wonderful breezes that flowed through the apartment and the fabulous ceiling fans in the middle of the day when the air was still. The young man who gave us the keys was very helpful, ensuring we knew what all three keys were for and how to use them. When we returned the first evening and couldn't get the apartment door to open, he knew just what information would aid in turning the key just right. We later realized that one key was a much better fit and used that set of keys from then on. The versatility of chairs and tables in the unit and a fabulous shower also added to the comfort of our stay. We were surprised by the amount of noise at night, given that none of the windows open onto streets and if you have problems tuning out men cheering at a game or singing at full voice, this might not be your perfect fit. Luckily we adjusted fairly quickly. We took full advantage of being so close to Rue de Buci having gelato, buying pastries at Paul's, exploring the fresh produce market. Plus, it was fabulous this trip to be able to walk to Shakespeare and Company, one of our favorite English bookstores in the world. The kitchen is well appointed; the day the toaster shorted out the power, the letting agency was quickly helpful in remedying the problem."
