  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"My husband, adult daughter, and I stayed here for a week. We are fortunate to travel to Paris 2-3 times per year and almost always lease an apartment. Everything from the initial booking with the friendly owner to the walk through with Sabine was handled in a welcoming and professional manner. The apartment itself is lovely and very large for a Paris apartment. The street is quiet (also an unusual bonus)and in a great location. Having the little balcony to go out and take in the Eiffel Tower puts this at the top of the best apartments we have stayed in. The river is close by along with all of the fabulous shopping in the 6th. We felt at home and made leaving one of our favorite cities even more difficult than usual. We would return to this apartment without hesitation and highly recommend it."

  • Honest Owners

"I hid my US cash as well as credit cards under the sink in the apartment and forgot to take them with me upon leaving. I contacted the owner and she found the items and mailed them to me. This level of honesty is what you look for in a vacation rental."

  • Wonderful apartment in a great location!

"We just returned from a great family trip that included Paris. Anne's apartment was truly the icing on the cake! First, Anne is a wonderful host (along with her cousin Laure). They made sure our visit was flawless. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of 4. It was well-maintained and had all of the little extras you expect in a vacation rental. They even left a bottle of wine for us. Keep in mind, this is a classic Parisian building that is fairly old. The apartment is nicely updated, but the floors are quite squeaky (particularly for those late-night visits to the bathroom). Something to consider if you're a light sleeper. Location is great. It's a typical Parisian neighborhood, but not full of tourists or hotels. Yet it was just a short walk or metro journey to any of the city's tourist destinations. The weather was mild, but we did enjoy the air conditioning on two of the nights. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a relaxed, local experience, but with all the modern comforts of home."

  • Terrific St.Germain 1 Bdrm with Elevator

"Stayed here for 3 weeks during May-June this year. Just as nice, very clean, and well-maintained as it was the 1st time I stayed here in 2008. Rue de Buci and Rue Gregoire de Tours, both with many modest-priced restaurants, bakeries, French delis, & mini-Carrefour supermarket are just around the corner. Blvd. St Germain just 2 blocks away with nearby Odeon and St. Germain Metro stations and the #63 bus that runs between Ave Henri Martin in the 16th arrondissement and the Gare de Lyon train station. The Seine River is only 5-6 blocks east, with the booksellers and antique dealers along the quasi. So convenient for walking everywhere! The kitchen is exceptional with spacious stainless steel fridge (new May 2016), a built-in wall OVEN as well as a built-in microwave, 4-burner electric countertop stove, and a washer/DRYER under the counter. (Very few French apartments have in-unit dryers!). The bathroom is better than typical with a spacious BATHTUB with flexible hose spray that can be anchored to the wall to function like an American shower over tub. The sink has big counter space for your toiletries. The 1 bedroom has plenty of closet space, built-in drawers and shelves. The queen bed is a newer, high quality type, and very comfortable. There is a flat screen TV with many good cable stations, including 24 hour BBC and French news stations in English. The elevator is a tiny one located within the spiral staircase and is too small for a wheelchair, but could fit a 3-sided manual folding-type walker. The gardienne, Mme. Liliane, is exceptionally helpful and kind, as is the owner. Both are readily accessible by email and phone. I consider this Rue Mazarine apartment my home away from home. The best of the VRBO short stay furnished apartments in Paris I have rented during the past 15 years!"
