  • Wonderful Experience!

"A special thank you to Rene and Danielle for giving us such a warm welcome and providing clear and specific instructions for our 7 night stay. Our train ride to the apartment was cut short due to a strike and we wound up an hour late for check-in. Rene, who speaks perfect English was very patient and thorough to ensure our needs would be met throughout the entire week to include suggestions for local Cafe's and grocery stores. As others have mentioned, the apartment is precisely as represented, immaculately clean, includes all of the necessary accessories and the bed is comfortable. The location is close to all the activities, transportation and attractions, yet the courtyard is very private, quiet, and beautifully decorated with cobblestone, flowers and statues. We started many of our days by walking to Monoprix for a fresh baguette, cheese, salami and wine, then closing the day by taking the few steps to the Seine to watch boats or listen to music while enjoying our most favorite French meal. It was such a treat to be so close, have a kitchen with refrigerator at our disposal and extremely relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. We are so fortunate to have found this hidden treasure and couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. Merci beaucoup Rene & Danielle.......your great communication and wonderful apartment made our trip extra special!"

  • Excellent stay!!

"This is an excellent apartment. First of all, the location could not be better. Walking distance to all the major attractions (Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Museums, etc.), yet in a residential neighborhood. There are supermarkets, cheese shops, fresh fruit stands, drug stores, cafes, restaurants...anything you could want, within 1-2 blocks. The apartment itself is very clean. It has every dish, cup, glass or frying pan you could ever need. The appliances are modern and work well (plus a toaster, dish washer, American style coffee maker, kettle, and super convenient clothes washer and dryer). Leave your hair dryer at home, even that is included. The WIFI worked great. The beds were very comfortable and the linens of good quality. We were met at the apartment by Lucy, who kindly showed us how to operate the appliances (AC, laundry machines, etc.). But the proof of a good rental is when there is a problem. On the third day of our stay the television quit working. We called the owner and had a new TV installed the next day. The owner Pascal was very attentive and quick to respond to all our inquiries. He arranged for transport to the airport for our departure and it all worked perfectly (Thank you Serge!). I will definitely recommend this rental to anyone visiting Paris. Thank you Pascal for making our Paris vacation truly enjoyable."

  • Excellent location, clean, all appliances and fixtures worked perfectly. Easy check-in.

"We stayed at this apartment for a week in August 2016. After a long day of sightseeing it was great to come back to the apartment for a rest and then walk over to the Eiffel tower for a picnic and to watch the light show on the hour. In fact we watched that show every night during our stay. The tower is a 5 minute walk away. The apartment is very nicely decorated and upon arrival there was a small box of chocolates and bottle of wine waiting for us. Not sure if this is always done, or if it's only for longer stays such as ours, but it was a really nice touch and makes you feel welcome right away. The street is not busy and we found it very quiet at night especially off the master bedroom which is away from the street. It's only one floor up so we were nervous about keeping the front windows open at night when it was hot so we kept them closed. We're a family of 5, two adults plus daughters aged 18, 13 and 10. The living room worked for us with one pullout couch which we kept open for two of our girls to sleep on, and the youngest slept on the couch which was just the right length for her. Having both couches pulled out just made it too tight. The table folds out so it worked for us to have breakfast every morning before heading out on the town. There's a place to buy baguettes right on the corner; however, they are not the best quality. Head over to Rue Saint-Dominique for your morning baguettes, fruit and veggies. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely book this apartment again when in Paris."

  • Wonderful Property and Great Owners

"This apartment was perfect for me and my husband. It is a block or two from the Eiffel Tower, walking distance to all of the Paris sights that we visited. There is a coffee maker for the morning so we had coffee each morning then grabbed a bite to eat at the bakery two buildings away. At night we were able to relax on the balcony and rest alone after a long day of people. (The bakery has quick meals for dinner too.) The restaurant on the corner of the street, La Petite Suffren, was very good and enjoyable. The Paris bikes are also right in front of the apartment and a small grocery store next door. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment had everything that we needed. The owners were wonderful. This was our first experience with VRBO and it was great! I would rent this same apartment if we return to Paris. I actually want to live in Paris now that I have visited it."
