  • Great location, sophisticated hosts, beautifully decorated.

"What a wonderful location for our stay in Paris. It was our first time there and we couldn't have been more pleased. Our hosts, Jim and Mark, and Mathias, made sure all our needs were met, even arranging our pick up from the airport. We were even invited over for a visit, which made us feel like true friends. Bravo Jim! Merci beaucoup. I would highly recommend this "Jewel" in Paris."

  • Would stay again - perfect location

"Nicely appointed apartment in a great neighborhood. This location cannot be beat. Only about 2 blocks walk from the Metro plus bakeries and cafe's about 1 block in either direction. Grocery store on the same block. The highlight of this apartment was the mattress! Very comfortable king size mattress, woke up feeling great every day. Would have appreciated having a couple of facial wash cloths and an additional hand towel per person as there were only two hand towels and two bath towels for two people. The shower was nice. The apartment is loaded with every kind of book about Paris that you can imagine. Would have appreciated written instructions on how to run the washer/dryer and the television and we couldn't figure either of them out. To be fair, Rodin did review these details with us, but there are several things to remember so instructions in writing would be a great addition. We could have called to ask questions, but it wasn't that important to us so we didn't do that, and for us it was only a minor inconvenience. Whenever I contacted the caretaker they always responded promptly and on check in day they were more than accommodating. We could call at any time with questions and they always answered or called right back. Excellent experience!"

  • Thoroughly enjoyable family visit

"Renault was an excellent and attentive host, very easy going, and made us feel welcome in his home. The apartment was spacious, comfortable for our family of four and had lots of charm. We spent a week over the Christmas holiday in the apartment and cooked nice meals for 6, which were very enjoyable. The kitchen is equipped with basic pots and pans, an espresso maker (no coffee pot) and all the appliances worked well. The location is superb and wonderful shops, transit, bistros, patisseries, pharmacy, historical monuments within close walking distance. The farmers market on Thursday and Saturday is fantastic and should not be missed!"

  • Wonderful Apartment in a Fantastic Location!

"La Maison d"Orsay was a wonderful apartment in a fantastic location. My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and loved our Parisienne home! The apartment was very nice and well equipped. It was in a great location and convenient to several metro stations. But the best was being in such a walkable area with wonderful cafes and bistros, a Monoprix grocery a few blocks away and a chocolate shop and bakery down the block. I would definitely stay here again! The apartment was very modern and located on the 1st floor( second for Americans). Very glad we just had to climb one flight of stairs!! We knew it was going to be somewhat on the small side, but the layout was great, so the size was no problem. The bathroom has good counter space and several drawers, which was really nice to have. Plenty of towels and supplies. The seating areas was comfortable and kitchen very well stocked. So nice to have a fridge and the space for our Monoprix buys! The bed was advertised as a queen, but I think it was between a queen and king-extremely comfortable with nice linens. No A/C, but we didn't need it. Could open the windows for a great cross breeze. The Wifi worked great as did the cable TV, although we did not watch it much. As with any old apartment building, you do sometimes hear your upstairs neighbor, but not enough to be bothersome. We have no complaints at all-from the booking process, to the arrival meeting and our stay. Everything worked out perfectly to make our week in Paris magnifique!!!"
