  • Outstanding Apartment and Owner

"We had a delightful stay in this beautiful, very conveniently located apartment near the Champs Elysées, La Madeleine, and shopping. The apartment has beautiful furnishings including antiques and very interesting artwork. The appliances are all new and function well. There is even an ice maker! The apartment is air-conditioned. The apartment lacked nothing. The bed is the most comfortable in which we have slept in all the vacation apartments we have rented. The bed linens were very nice. Damien left a bottle of wine, and there were enough paper goods for the length of our visit. When we initiated the reservation process, Damien was extremely responsive, answering questions within a couple of hours. It made me wonder if he ever sleeps! The owner Damien met us the first evening, and it felt that he was already a friend. He is a very interesting person, with varied interests, knowledge, and impeccable English. During and after our stay, he has been just as responsive. Joey met us on time and arrived on time to check us out. He explained everything about the apartment, how to use the appliances, etc. He even came on the fourth day of our stay to clean and change the bed linens and towels. His help was most appreciated. This apartment and Damien are so outstanding that we shall plan our next trip to Paris according to availability of this apartment! Merci beaucoup and mahalo nui loa, Damien!"

  • A gorgeous apartment in a perfect location!

"Our visit (three 45-50 year old friends) to Paris was fabulous! The apartment was in the perfect location, just a block and half off the Champs Elysees. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were plenty hot with very good water pressure. The linens were lovely too. The living room was a great gathering spot with a super comfortable couch. The kitchen was small, but had what we needed for our 6 night vacation. My group of friends travel regularly and use either VRBO or Airbnb quite regularly and we would all highly recommend this property. The only constructive feedback we have is the following... (1) there wasn't enough toilet paper, paper towels or garbage bags, which we had to purchase during our stay; (2) no toiletries come with the apartment, so we also had to purchase some shampoo and body wash; (3) there isn't a toilet in the master bath, so you have to use the hall 1/2 bath, which wasn't a big deal, just notable; (4) a neighbor threatened to call the cops on us for running the dryer one night, which was quite startling; (5) on NYEve the neighbors upstairs danced and played VERY loud music until 6:30am -- we understood it was NYEve, but it sounded like they were in the apartment with us, which made for a very long night of no sleep. Otherwise the place was very quiet. My last word is -- this is fabulous place in a perfect location and I would highly recommend a stay here."

  • Lovely Paris pied-a-terre and much more

"This well-appointed pied-a-terre proved to be perfect for our four-day stay in Paris. The place is immaculate, contains all amenities, is nicely furnished and graced with two balconies overlooking other buildings of Haussmann design. It is in a great location with easy bus and metro access and shops and cafes close by. We particularly enjoyed visiting the exquisite nearby Musée Jacquemart-André, a mansion museum. The owners deserve these excellent ratings. Marie thought of every detail a guest might want to know, filling a bookcase with travel guides and binders with instructions and information about local restaurants, etc. Pascal actually met us at Gare de Lyon, leading the way by bus to the building and serving as an impromptu guide. (We learned they do private, customized tours, something we would like to do in the future.) At the end of our stay, Pascal also accompanied us back to the train station. In all our travels, we’ve never met such gracious and delightful hosts. Their knowledge of France is extensive and entertaining."

"My family rented this apartment for 4 nights when we visited Paris as a group (7 adults). There are so many positive things to say, it's hard to know where to begin... The apartment itself is beautiful. The layout is a bit of a maze for the first minute, but it adds to the charm of the apartment. The crown moldings are incredible - you have to remind yourself to look ahead and down when walking, and take your eyes off the ceiling! We had the 4 bedroom configuration and there was plenty of room and washroom space for everyone to be comfortable. The location is PERFECT! We could not have asked for a better spot. We walked virtually everywhere: Eiffel tower - 30 minutes Louvre - 30 minutes Sacre Coeur - would have been about 1 - 1.5 hours had we walked straight on, but we kept stopping for shops and drinks! Very nice walk though. We also used the Metro which was located right nearby and was very easy to use. The owner - Christian was a perfect host, above and beyond what we had experienced anywhere else (we rented houses across France and Belgium over a few weeks). Prior to booking and arrival, we had a Skype tour of the house. We were greeted with charm and laughter when we arrived at the apartment. After spending time showing us all the details of the apartment and how to work everything (including the great stereo system), he took us on a walking tour of the neighborhood to point out the best restaurants, shops, grocers, bakeries, etc. It was so nice getting some tips from a local and feeling like we had a bit of knowledge of the area. Since returning home we haven't stopped talking about this apartment and recommending it to others. We would all certainly love to return some day."
