  • Really really tiny, but location couldn't be better

"If you are over 5'10" (1.78m) tall - forget it. If you are over 40" (100cm) around the middle - forget it. Apart from those caveats, this tiny place is almost perfect. Missing a few small details, like a dishcloth, napkins and a bread knife, but it even has a dishwasher. I have never seen a dishwasher the size of a microwave, but that's what's there! There is also a Nespresso machine hidden away behind the microwave - no space is wasted. The toilet could use a soap dish, a towel rail, and a toilet roll holder, but there is plenty of hot water. The bed is comfortable. The heating works (can't comment on air conditioning). Might be a bit claustrophobic for some as there are no windows, only skylights. There is an elevator but you do have a few stairs to manipulate at the top. Tight, narrow and twisty - large, heavy suitcases are a definite problem. Adrien was really helpful and all services were delivered as promised. The location can't be beaten. Worth a serious look for two (not large) people for a limited stay."

  • Very Nice Apartment

"Our family of 7 stayed here for 2 nights after Christmas 2016. First - the service provided by Mathilde and her family was great! We were running late due to getting caught in Paris traffic. Really appreciated her patience in waiting for us to finally arrive! Very nice apartment located in a nice area. Very secure apartment building with the apartment on the 4th floor. This is an older building - so the elevator is very small (2 people plus luggage are a tight fit). Great location - a metro stop is less than 75 meters away - with another metro stop less than 15 minutes away. Lots of restaurants, shops in the area. There is a Carrefour Express just down the street for basic grocery shopping. The kitchen is very modern - even though we didn't use any of the appliances except the refrigerator. There have a washer/dryer in one of the bathrooms (didn't use them) with instructions in English. Even with the local traffic - the street noise was minimal in the apartment. The two bathrooms are fine - they provide plenty of towels. There seems to be plenty of storage for longer stays. The couch in the living room is a pull out bed - which our son thought was fine. The dining room has a nice writing table that has information about Paris and places to see. While we stayed, there was a slight "musty" odor in the dining room - even though we didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment. In the living room - there is plenty of seating for 7 people which was nice for family socializing to discuss the day's events. A very nice place to stay. Would recommend it for consideration on trips to Paris."

  • Very Parisien Apartment in a really good location

"The Colisee apartment was exactly as described and fit our needs perfectly. We were four adult women (mom, sister, mom's friend and I). The sleeping arrangement as perfect as my sister and I shared the very comfortable single beds; mom slept on the comfortable sofa sleeper and her friend had the room with the double bed. I appreciated that even the living room had a door so mom technically had a room to herself as well. This was a great and welcome surprise. Good Quick response from beginning to end Excellent location and easy to navigate the city on the metro and buses. 5 min walk to Champs Elysee Very nice boulangerie (pastry shop) right across the street. we had our croissants each morning to start the day Easy and convenient check in/check out process (follow the directions provided) Elevator. Not always available in many countries (see the 'Be Aware of" notes below) Washing Machine in apt (didn't have to return home with dirty clothes. See "Be aware" notes) Flat was clean and there was plenty of storage Loved the efficiency kitchen. Well equipped Monoprix (grocery market) very close. One block away The many restaurants in the neighborhood (we particularly loved the asian restaurants. very fresh and very inexpensive. also, EATs. Great sandwiches) Be Aware Elevator is small. Max weight is 225kg (basically 1.5 adults). We are not large women but had to go up and down in shifts if you don't walk up/down the stairs. Washing Machine. Wash cycle is much longer than American washers. approximately 60 minutes (but clothes are darn near dry) The apartment is in a bldg. next to a lounge/bar and near other late night bars it was super noisy with the windows open. I wore ear plugs each night and was fine but if with infants this may be a concern Toilet room (bathroom room was very nice). It is a bit tight. not much room to maneuver in there. very small Towels. Limited. You get one bath towel and a hand towel per guest. If you need a wash cloth, bring it with you. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to others. The proximity to many major Paris sites as well as the proximity to the Metro and Buses was great."
