  • A gorgeous apartment in a perfect location!

"Our visit (three 45-50 year old friends) to Paris was fabulous! The apartment was in the perfect location, just a block and half off the Champs Elysees. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were plenty hot with very good water pressure. The linens were lovely too. The living room was a great gathering spot with a super comfortable couch. The kitchen was small, but had what we needed for our 6 night vacation. My group of friends travel regularly and use either VRBO or Airbnb quite regularly and we would all highly recommend this property. The only constructive feedback we have is the following... (1) there wasn't enough toilet paper, paper towels or garbage bags, which we had to purchase during our stay; (2) no toiletries come with the apartment, so we also had to purchase some shampoo and body wash; (3) there isn't a toilet in the master bath, so you have to use the hall 1/2 bath, which wasn't a big deal, just notable; (4) a neighbor threatened to call the cops on us for running the dryer one night, which was quite startling; (5) on NYEve the neighbors upstairs danced and played VERY loud music until 6:30am -- we understood it was NYEve, but it sounded like they were in the apartment with us, which made for a very long night of no sleep. Otherwise the place was very quiet. My last word is -- this is fabulous place in a perfect location and I would highly recommend a stay here."

  • Prime Location, Prime Customer Care

"The apartment is located in one of Paris's prime locations--Saint Germain. It's easily accessible to all the primary must-see monuments and museums of Paris. The apartment is spacious, open and airy, which made for a pleasant stay. The customer service was incredible--from Karen to Magalie to Jean-Nicolas--each prompt and attentive to our questions and/or issues. Like any apartment you stay in around the world, you will have to make it your own place by buying the necessities you need, but this apartment is stocked with spices/dishes/pots/pans. If you need additional towels, just ask. If you need help with check-in, then you pay an additional fee, but worth it, since the apartment is located on the 3rd Parisian floor (4th floor). Also important to note: I've been to Paris several times stayed in Le Marais, which is more locals versus St. Germain that tends to be more tourist, but magical still. Thanks to team--Karen, Magalie and Jean Nicolas for making it a special trip to Paris."

  • Brilliant location, great apartment.

"What a brilliant location ! My daughter and I are from Sydney Australia and spent ten days in this apartment celebrating her 40th birthday with sightseeing and experiencing Paris life. We had a wonderful time and the apartment was perfect for us. Jean-Noel was a total pleasure to make the booking with, he made it easy and answered all my questions. The apartment cannot be faulted on location, absolutely the ultimate position opposite the metro at Jussieu, a handy walk to many wonderful shops for cheese, wine, fruit and vege, as well as baked goods, restaurants, Sainte Chapelle, Notre Dame, the Louvre, we even walked 'home' from the Eiffel Tower.. quite a hike ! The outlook is gorgeous, the apartment is bright and sunny. The stairs are scary, steep and a little slippery, but if you take your time there is no drama, we didn't mind climbing them at night after endless walking during the day. Just not for anyone on crutches or otherwise disabled :) After your stay you will be lean and fit from leaping up and down the stairs !! The apartment is very well and extremely thoughtfully equipped, with everything you could possibly need including as a bonus some fabulous guide books (I added one of Paris walks to the collection). The heating was excellent, and we needed it, as the weather was quite cool compared to the thirty degrees centigrade we had been experiencing at home. We were the first visitors for the season and felt that the apartment could have done with a thorough clean before we moved in. Myriam and Lola welcomed us warmly and punctually and settled us in. All details of the apartment were explained to us and Myriam even gave us a recommendation for a brasserie on the Ile St Louis which was fabulous. Thank you ! An amazing property, highly recommended !"

  • Living the dream in Paris!

"Without repeating all the positive aspects of Alain's apartment as described in the other reviews, I will try to describe our experience at this gem of an apartment in a great location and neighborhood we found to give us an excellent feel for “living the dream” in Paris for a week. Alain's cafe was a great introduction to the Parisienne experience, along with a great cup of Americana coffee, seafood salad and the pains au chocolat. There are many stores and restaurants in the neighborhood. Beside Bon Marche and the grand epicerie, there's a butcher, fish monger, many great boutique stores, chocolatiers, florists, tailor, and many other services found in large cities. Right next to Carrefour City(local supermarket) is another little shop which has good meals to go. We had the chicken and potatoes and that was just fine with a good price. Some days there's a Farmer's Market right outside of these two stores. Only a few steps away and around the corner is the Chapelle Notre-Dame De La Medaille Miraculeuse, where Sainte Catherine Laboure had her miraculous experience. She is an incorruptible saint who lies within the church. Alain's studio is a great find and I'm sure you'll love it as we did. We are two Americans in our middle sixties and really liked the idea that the metro was right there, which brought us to every major sight. Merci, Alaine. You were very helpful!"
