  • Classiest and best kept Paris apartment building ever. And quiet street at night.

"We've stayed in several apartments in this price bracket in Paris but this one was the cleanest and quietest. Also the classiest. The woman who greets you downstairs is friendly and is great at keeping a safe feeling around the hallways. The lush red carpets, and the quaint 2 person elevator that works beautifully all adds to the charm. The actual apartment is very comfortable for two couples. With the sliding door that separated the living room space from the rest of the apartment it was like getting a two bedroom for the price of one. It was a little awkward but do-able if your budget cannot afford a two bedroom. The kitchen was a dream kitchen to work in. The big window in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and livingroom allowed lots of daylight and fresh air in. At night in the living room, we slept with the window slightly open and there was minimal noise considering we were in the middle of Paris. Our taxi driver told us too, this is a quiet family neighborhood. The subway was a 2-3 block walk away. There were two bakeries within a couple of blocks. It was easy to get around from this home base. Living is easy and comfortable from this apartment. The extra supplies in the kitchen, and all the cleaning supplies you could need, towels and extra pillows and blankets were all bonuses. Big closets allowed our stuff to be put away without feeling lke you were living out of a suitcase. Would stay again no problem."

  • Perfect apartment in the Marais

"We stayed for 5 days in this fabulous apartment in the Village of St Paul. The owners have thought of everything. Leave your guidebooks at home--their library is stocked with all the best. The kitchen and laundry are stocked with cleaning agents.A notebook provides instructions on use of appliances, as well as neighborhood information. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was quiet. Mathias was our concierge and was attentive to our requests. His picture is on the speed dial on the phone--couldn't be easier to reach him. Good restaurants, museums and metro are nearby. The only drawback is a two flight walk up with narrowing winding steps. Everything else is really lovely. We hope to return"
