  • Exceptionnel

"Loft de caractère lui convient tout à fait ! La description de la location était precise. L'appartement ne manquait de rien, était propre, entretenu et confortable. La propriétaire était charmante et attentionnée. Nous sommes tombés amoureux de ce lieu et le recommandons vivement a tous!"

  • Peace, Warmth, Views - and a Pool

"Tucked away in a very quiet and secluded setting, this house is ideal for those wishing to get away from it all. The house is very well equipped and full of personal touches (as you would expect: out of season it's the home of the proud and careful owners). The pool was most welcome; the weather was very hot during our early September stay. It was a real joy to sit outside in the warm evenings, taking in the view over the hills opposite. And, an unexpected bonus, without being troubled at all by insects. A car, and a driver not fazed by narrow, bendy roads, are essential of course. It's a five minute drive to the village, which has a bar; ten minutes to beautiful Lagrasse (nearest baker) and fifteen to the nearest supermarket. The owners are welcoming and give you an extremely thorough introduction to the property. We love the Corbières and enjoyed our stay in this house."

  • Could not ask for more

"Firstly we would like to thank Richard and Sue for renting their beautiful home in Paziols. My family and I had an amazing holiday their in the summer, our ages ranged from 6 yrs to 60 yrs but we all had a lovely time with plenty to do for everyone. The village is beautiful and if you visit at end of July you will have the pleasure of taking part in the festival which involves the whole village with loud music (live bands) food, fun fair and of course plenty of wine, which continue well into the early hours for 3 days ( we loved it, it made our holiday so memorable, buts its not for everyone, so check out the dates). You do need a car to explore the area but what a beautiful area, we were lucky enough to be their in the middle of a heat wave (so the pool was a god send and well used) the countryside, flowers and vines were out in bloom and so pretty. The house is everything you need and more, when we arrived, 2 cars, 2 tired hot and hungry children and 6 adults and opened up the 'Cave' we were blown away with the size, we had room to park both cars easily and still had room to ride the bikes and children's scooter's around and play ball games. We had seen the photos of the house obviously but on climbing the stairs with our bags and cases we were amazed at the sheer size of the property we were speechless, their is everything you need and of very high standard, we could not fault it at all also such a pretty pretty garden. Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful holiday. Visit the surrounding areas its a must - especially the caves Chasm Cabrespine and nearby Villefranche de Conflent medieval walled town. Perpignan is a must too, great for shopping and finish off with a good meal in the evening (it comes alive at night). Also Argeles-sur-Mer is a little drive away but well worth it, go for the day, beaches are amazing, pick a beach bar and for a small fee you have the use of all their facilities all day, also has a water park near by horse riding and fun fair, again comes alive early evening with music, dozens of restaurants and ice cream parlours and markets. All in all we had an amazing holiday in a lovely part of France (well worth a visit) but to top it all was Richard and Sue's lovely holiday home that made it so perfect. Thank You"
