  • Super holiday home!

"We had a great time staying at Bares. The location was lovely with glorious views of the Pyrenees most days!! The new swimming pool is great and sitting by it had wonderful sunflowers all around. The gite itself was extremely well fitted out with everything you could need. We spent most of our time sitting outside on our private patio. I can only say I would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore that part of France. There was an excellent restaurant nearby at Riolas and also in L'isle en Dodon. A supermarket was also handy in L'isle en Dodon too."

"zeker de moeite! Veel rust en toch dichtbij de nodige winkels. Prachtige natuur! (pont d'espagne, lac de gimone) super huis, niets tekort. Voor de kinderen veel speelgoed te vinden + leuk verwarmd zwembad.Een huis die aanvoelt als een thuis."

  • Breath Taking!

"We had the opportunity to stay at Chateau du Haget for a week - and to be honest it was the best experience we had during our month of travels! The photos do not do the property justice - you really need to see it to believe it! Absolutely stunning grounds, peaceful surroundings, and a beautifully decorated apartment. If you are looking for relaxation and hoping to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities - this is certainly the place to do it. Majority of our time was spent sitting by the pool, playing snooker, reading a book, drinking wine, and munching on cheese and baguettes. We love animals - and thoroughly enjoyed the occasional visit from the sheep, cats, dog, and even the peacock as they roam around the grounds. If you enjoy history you will be amazed that the Chateau goes as far back as the 13th century. It is situated in the countryside, so a vehicle is a must - but small towns are not a far drive and there are often festivals you can visit. Ali and Mike, the owners, are so accommodating and are some of the most amazing people we've ever met. They have the best taste in decor and certainly have an eye for art ;) . We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone! It is absolutely worth the visit!"
