Most of Provence is a warm Mediterranean climate where you'll enjoy blue skies and dry, sunny days. Colder areas are around the Alps, where it snows. Further inland and around the coast, the big weather variation comes from the Mistral, a strong year-round wind that can gust up to 50 miles an hour. It creates chilly weather, especially in the winter, so pack that jacket. You might see some rain in September through November, but snow, not so much. July and August are the hottest months, with highs in the 80s, while December and January lows hover in the 30s.
From east to west, you'll find your dream landscape
