  • Very good option in Aix

"My wife and I stayed at this apartment for one week during May 2016. We dealt directly with the owner on all matters and everything went smoothly. The apartment is in a terrific location right on Cours Mirabeau, yet overlooks a courtyard which makes for a quiet night's sleep. The building and apartment access are very secure. The apartment is very modern with everything required to make for a comfortable stay. The bed is large and firm. The bathroom has two sinks and generous soaps and toiletries are provided. There is a nice little balcony where one can sit and enjoy a drink. The television is large, works well and has a lot of channels. The WiFi worked well. The kitchen is rather small, but is fully equipped. My wife and I didn't do any real cooking while we were there, but we could have had we wanted to. All things considered, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and would certainly stay there again if we were to return to Aix."

  • Great place to stay in Aix!

"This apartment was a welcome find for our 10 days in Aix-en-Provence. Clean and light-filled, it's in a building that opens right onto a square of shops and restaurants and is steps away from all the sights but the home itself is absolutely quiet. The full kitchen is fairly well stocked. Great to have a deck and the indoor parking space is a real gift. We gladly recommend to anyone visiting Aix!"

  • Full of charm with Wonderful location.

"Plenty of room in this spacious apt close to everything in the old city. Quiet setting with plenty of delicious nearby dining, market, sightseeing, and shopping. Walking everywhere was so much fun and our host ensured we were prepared to enjoy the stay. Kitchen is tight but fully function and dining area can easily seat six. We were delighted to stay for 3 weeks."

  • Very nice atmosphere, lots of space

"The flat is very well situated, in the courtyard of an impressive 'hotel particulier', quiet and well insulated from the busy bar/night spot opposite. Past the top end of the Cours Mirabeau it is close to the lovely rue d'Italie and just opposite the Chapelle des Oblats which houses the great Plank collection of modern art (do visit). The ground floor's double height living room is a lovely social space with a great atmosphere, opening onto a very well appointed kitchen. The great luxury is to have 3, yes three !, simple but comfortable bedrooms. Other luxury, the underfloor heating (we visited in January) made the old terracotta tiles a delight to walk on - sadly not extending to the ground floor bedroom which was a bit on the cold side. David himself was away for a few days, but, after an initial blip, he was very present and pleasant on the phone. His father effectively handled the hand over; he was very obliging and easy going. We even had contact with David's son who came over to repair the (nice and big) TV. So 3 generations of the Gil family looked after us very kindly and effectively !"
