  • Convenient, clean, and great location

"This apartment, only steps from the Pope's Palace and the Cloister of Saint Pierre, is in the perfect location in Avignon. Only a few minutes walk to Les Halle for a wonderful market experience and beautiful produce, authentic Provençal products and prepared foods. It is easy to eat in the apartment or walk to any of the restaurants nearby. Francis has provided a very helpful booklet of information including favorite restaurants, local sights, and nearby Luberon villages with their market days. The apartment is very clean, has everything a person needs for the kitchen, the bath and the bedroom. The beds are very comfortable, including the sofa bed. The CD player with Madeleine Peyroux and some jazz greats was a very nice touch. There are three flights of stairs, but my sister and I (ages 56 and 66), did not find them to be a problem. The best part is Francis, himself. He met us at the apartment just three minutes after we called him. He showed us all the ropes and answered all of our questions in a very patient manner. We had a problem with a window (the problem was us, not the window) and he was there to help within three minutes! He booked our train tickets for our trip from Italy to Avignon and emailed them to us. When we left Avignon, Francis drove us to the TGV and helped us rent a car. He is a true gentleman, warm, and personable. Francis and his apartment will make your stay in Avignon as perfect as it can be. I can not recommend him and the apartment highly enough!"

  • Exactly as Advertised

"Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the apartment was as shown in the pictures. Frederic met us at the apartment, provided us with our keys and did a walk through to provide the necessary information. There were four of us (women, friends) staying for a full week. Two of us had the separate bedrooms and two sisters shared the bedroom with the two single beds (although these beds would be more suitable for children). In addition to the three bedrooms, there were two bathrooms - one with a tub and the other a shower. We had a full kitchen including a washer and dryer for our use. In addition, we had a large living room and a quaint dining room. We put the dining room to use by visiting the fresh market and returning to the apartment to prepare a lovely lunch (did this at least a couple of times). The Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes) is directly across a large square. What a beautiful site every time you left the apartment! It could be a little noisy in the evenings but was usually quiet around 11:00 pm. We were at the apartment from April 20th to April 27th so I do not know how busy/noisy the square would be in the summer months. We were very happy with our choice and it made for a fabulous visit. Would recommend this apartment to friends."

  • Wonderful place!

"The owner of this charming flat is so gracious and nice! We put in our request to rent this flat at the 'last minute' ( our travel plans had changed) and she was very prompt in her response which relieved our stress immensely. She met us at the flat and answered any questions that we had. And she had instructions written out for the use of the television, stove, etc and information on restaurants and more. So great! The flat was wonderful! Very clean and bright; well equipped kitchen; spacious living area; nice bedroom space and good sized bathroom. And, it is in a perfect location to be able to walk and explore the beautiful town of Avignon! We would definitely want to rent this flat again and stay longer next time!"

  • Appartamento bello e ben curato.
