  • This is a great house, perfect launching for the south of france

"My husband and i stayed at the Bello Visto villa for two weeks in August this year. While we actually resided in the attached apartment we also visited with the owners while they were using the main home. First let me explain that the village of Cairanne is incredible. Its central location in the Cotes De Rhone region allows visitors to have access to great things to see and do in absolutely every direction. While we were there for two weeks we only did about 25% of the great things to do in the Region. We went to Avignon and visited the Palace of the Popes, it was news to me that for several hundred years France was the center of the Catholic church, not Rome. We toured the Pont De Gard bridge and museum, which was a 45 mile aquaduct that the Romans built to deliver water to cities that they wanted to develop centuries ago. We went to the Orange Theatre which is still in operation today and was built by the romans, hosting a French Woodstock in the late 70's. Attending the Viason de Romain market one of the oldest Tuesday markets in the world continuously in operation for 2000 years. WE saw two local concerts in near the village and felt perfectly comfortable with the language and the music. One day we drove to Arle and had one of the best meals of our life with a nine course lunch at Raphanel. They did things with food you can only dream of...think 5 different kinds of ice cream that you can't buy in any store. A visit to Chatanuf de Paup on the final day was indeed a highlight. The French pope had a summer house on top of a hill with views of the entire valley. We had lunch overlooking the castle and then stopped at some incredible wine shops think caves and purchased wine for the cellar at home. The house is great and feels like home. Its 300 years old but updated and well maintained by the owners. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house has a washing machine and dryer so you can plan to bring less clothes and just wash as you go. The dining room table and the patio table had numerous three hour meals at them. Chairs were comfortable and the kitchen had way more than you can actually use. There is every tool, dish and serving utensils as you probably have in your home. There is nothing spared in making this house the most pleasant and incredible as it is. The beds are top notch, and you will no problem sleeping with the lovely windows and views. The apt works perfect for two or three and nicely compliments the home."

  • Extra !

... à 1/2 h de l'appartement. Merci Domnine. À bientôt."
