  • Wonderful apartment in a friendly town

"This was our second trip to the apartment and l'Isle sur la Sorgue. We enjoyed it as much or more than our first trip. The kitchen in this apartment is exceptionally well equipped. There is a pan for every need and the gas stove is a joy to use. The BBQ on the terrace is really nice for a quick grill of sausage or other meat for dinner. There is an excellent butcher and boulangerie just a few steps from the apartment. There is a friendly small wine store near the church. The Utile is a good small grocery store for in between market days. They were also doing a very promising renovation and extension of their wine section. The tile floors and AC keep the apartment cool even in the Provençal summer. The washer is easy to use and clothes dry quickly if you hang them on the rack and put them out on the terrace for the afternoon. A visit to the Partage des Eaux was a nice evening walk. One thing we did for the first time this trip was visit the Fontaine de Vaucluse. This is the underground source of the Sorgue river. Even in the summer with lower water flow, it was amazing. The water is crystal clear and beautiful. It is definitely worth a visit. We took the bus from the apartment, but it would be a short drive. It was great trip and we cannot wait to go back. I am still dreaming about the lavender ice cream and strawberry basil sorbet we would walk to get for dessert every night near the church."

  • Absolutely Wonderful Vacation Rental Experience

"It is a cozy, well-kept cottage that is close to the bus line (into Avignon) and a short walk to pastry shops, pharmacy, supermarket and more. The landlady could not have been kinder: she got us from and back to the TGV, and even took us grocery shopping the first day so we could fill the cottage's refrigerator. The WiFi is good, and the washing machine, stove, dishwasher and microwave make it easy to comfortably stay a week. The covered pool is also great to have, and the 3 bedrooms (each sleeps two) let you invite friends to join you in this amazing part of the world, Provence. It is a terrific place and a good value. - The Foxworths, Chicago, US"
