  • Maison de Lorgues is simply fantastic! A beautiful home, in tranquil private grounds.

"We are so delighted that we have found this charming French family property, surrounded by olive trees and in a very peaceful location. The house was perfect for our family ranging from 12 - 71 years! We celebrated a 70th birthday whilst staying and it couldn't have been a better house for such an occasion. The outside dining area, patio's and seating areas are just brilliant spaces for relaxing, eating, reading or enjoying a glass of local rosé. The pool is lovely with plenty of space to sit in the sun or cool off in the shade of the open pool house. The house is extremely well equipped and in particular the kitchen, it has everything you would ever need for entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms are really lovely, the beds are very comfortable. We loved our time at Maison de Lorgues and can't wait to return. We would recommend a day out at Sainte-Croix du Verdon or Antibes and an evening in Mougins."

  • Lovely, peaceful and clean villa

"We were a group of 5 adults and two children and we found this villa ideal for our week's stay. One couple with their two children had the two downstairs bedrooms (a large ensuite double and a kids room with two single beds) and this suited them as they could be near their children. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The house itself is perfect - modern, bright and spacious. We spent most of the time outside and there are lots of different seating and grassy areas for everyone to spread out or congregate. It's also ideally equipped with everything you can think of, (we only had to bring in things like bin bags) and even had games like ping pong and boule and we enjoyed using the BBQ most evenings. The owner was very professional when dealing with matters over email, and employs a local lady to give you keys. The area itself is a little cut off and the town is small with limited resources. There is only one proper supermarket ('Casino') but it has all you need. Overall it was a lovely, peaceful and clean villa, perfect for a relaxing holiday."

  • A Beautifully Restored Stone Townhouse with Excellent Kitchen equipped with top Grade Appliances

"The VRBO description of this lovely stone Townhouse in the Medieval section of a delightful small Provencal Town is totally accurate. Due to its excellent restoration, the House stands out from its Neighbors in a quietly elegant manner. inside, it becomes immediately apparent that the Interior had been gutted; the lovely, honey colored Stone Walls preserved and a modern 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Maisonette with an unusually large Modern Kitchen with top grade Appliances custom built. One of the many outstanding features of this House are the use of skylights which wash the Interior with Natural Light by day and, by night, via a clever use of lighting and transparent ceilings in the Guest Bedroom Toilet and Shower Rooms, the Stairwell Wall and Living Room are bathed with Light. The presence of a Shower in the Guest Room is a nice Plus for Americans accustomed to Showers rather than Baths. The large Bath in the beautifully tiled Master Bedroom Bathroom offers a good, hot soak after a days touring. The House is also equipped with excellent TV and Wi-Fi for visitors traveling with Lap Tops and 'Smart' Phones that can use Wi-Fi in lieu of a Service Provider, so calls anywhere could be free! The Kitchen is a 'Cooks Kitchen' equipped with top grade German Appliances, including 2 under counter 'roll out' Cabinet Style Refrigerator capacious drawers and an adjacent under counter Freezer. The 5 Burner Range could easily handle every kind of Menu from a Thanksgiving Turkey to a simple Morning French Omelette. The House is about a 5-10 minute easy walk through narrow Medieval streets to the literal Center of Town where one can find almost every type of Restaurant, Brasserie, Cafe, Boulangerie (Bakery), Marche de Viande (meat), 'Casino' (well equipped Convenience Store), ATMs, etc. The only difficulty, as is the case in every such Medieval Town, close -in Parking can be hard to find, but, happily, there are two Parking Areas for the Residents within an easy 5 minute walk. We plan to go back for a re-visit as soon as Time permits. In Sum, a remarkably fine, comfortable, well designed and equipped French Home (away from 'Home')! Highly recommended."
