Fabulous accommodations in the hear of Aix!

My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 4 days in July, and there are no words to stress how wonderful it was and how helpful Joel was. The unit is exactly how it appears in the pictures, super clean and comfortable, and just charming. There was a nice welcome package for us when we arrived. The amenities were perfect - kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable and tv/cable worked well. And I loved the bathtub, perfect size for a soak, which I took advantage of on more than one occasion. And the location cannot be beat. It is a minute walk to the main street, Cours Mirabeau, which was lined with all kinds of shops and restaurants. A supermarket is very close as well. We mostly ate in because the apartment was so nice and relaxing, and while it was super hot and humid, the air conditioning worked perfectly. Joel arranged for us to park in the building which was very convenient. The residential streets are extremely narrow, but once we got the hang of it, we were so happy to have parking so close. Joel was super helpful and responsive, whether it came to driving instructions or just general questions about the area. I texted him a few times while we were there and he always responded quickly. Also, if you are looking for a city in the Provence area, I think Aix is a good choice. We ventured out to the north to some of the villages in the Luberon area, and then also headed to Salon-de-Provence to the west to watch a stage of the Tour de France. It is about 30 minutes in each direction and we were pleased with the central location of the apartment. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful property in a beautiful part of Provence

Our family of four, 2 children aged 9 and 11, stayed at le Mas du Passe Temps for a week, July 2017. We had a wonderfully relaxing visit to a beautiful part of France and it was lovely coming home to the house at the end of a hot and busy day. The pool area was lovely, the loungers comfortable and the large, modern sun umbrella provided plenty of shade should you wish. The pool temperature was perfect, not too cool or warm. The house was well equipped with all the dishes, glassware, utensils and household appliances you need and were all in great working order. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of clothing storage in each bedroom along with tasteful décor throughout the house – just as the pictures online depict! The wifi was rather spotty at times and did not reach up the second floor of the house at all. Our children would have appreciated cable tv when winding down in the evenings and we all would have been grateful for air conditioning in the bedrooms. The days when the Mistral blew, we were able to cool the rooms down in the evening prior to sleep by opening all the windows but on the days of no wind, the bedrooms were exceptionally hot and at times uncomfortable to sleep in. Small upright fans are provided however, ceiling fans (if not air conditioners!) would be a real benefit to le Mas du Passe Temps and its summer visitors. Anne was a wonderful help prior to our trip, making restaurant reservations for us and providing answers to any email questions we had almost immediately. The booking and security deposit refund was straightforward and appreciated. We would highly recommend a stay in le Mas du Passe Temps, keeping in mind your capacity to sleep in very warm weather! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
