  • Much loved summer holiday 2016

"We are a family of 10 who stayed for 2 weeks in august 2016 for a relaxing summer break. Beverly was so very helpful from the initial enquiry to keeping in touch during our stay to ensure everything was well and we were happy with everything. The cleaners Isabelle and her daughter are very thorough and cleaned the house to a level that was beyond my expectation. The house itself is beautiful, with lots of charm and character. Theres a lot of inside and outside space for a family of 10. It was a real bonus having the pool house with the pool kitchen and the bbq so close to the swimming pool, sun loungers, large outside eating area. It was perfect for us to prepare and cook food whilst all being together by the pool area. The villa is in a beautiful spot which is highlighted by the views over the valley below, which seems ever changing with the lighting. If your up earlier enough there is a hot air balloon which you can watch take flight from the valley bellow every day at around 7am. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together or find some piece and quiet away from the crowds. The pool was heated and a real hit with everyone of all ages, the electric cover was great at keeping the heat in the pool during the night. Location wise was spot on, with an easy walk into the village for bread etc. 15 mins to a large supermarket, 10 mins to the beautiful Gordes and 20 mins to the town Apt as well as other large supermarkets. We would recommend for anyone looking for a lovely villa, with a gorgeous pool, with views of the surrounding areas, which is clean and in good order for a relaxed holiday in a beautiful location."

  • A perfect hidden cottage in the heart of Lourmarin

"Amelie is all that the prospectus promises and more. Behind a flaking blue wooden door at the end of the main street in Lourmarin is a lovely little courtyard, hidden from the world outside, but just in touch with the sounds and life of this lovely Luberon town. The cottage is perfect for two people – it is a bit like the Tardis; it seems small, but all you need is cunningly tucked away and there is a big welcoming bed and many stylistic touches. There is an excellent restaurant literally on the doorstep and many more within five minute's walk, along with a boulangerie and two small supermarkets, not to mention the magnificent Friday market that almost overwhelms you with its cornucopia of produce. Half day drives will take you through the wonders of the Grand and Petit Luberon villages. Do not miss Oppede le Vieux. Meanwhile Kristine will be a most charming multilingual landlady with a wealth of local information, especially about the best places to eat. There is plenty of parking in the vicinity, but although you are almost in the heart of the town it is a haven of peace."

  • We're here now and loving it! Love the place thanks Felipe.

"We're here now! Hi Felipe. I just wanted to say how much we love your home 5 days into our stay. The addition of your adjoining La Petite Maison was a really great idea for my parents to have them nearby but not too close. They love the outdoor troglodytic shower (who knew!) and have no problems with the steps up to the bedroom. The older boys are the rulers of the top floor rooms and TV area and our friends and us are on the first floor as per your suggestion with the little ones. Your menu of activities and the different things you and Corinne suggested have all been perfect so far. We loved the market in St Remy and tomorrow we hope to do the Foret des Cedres walk with lunch in Bonnieux. Joel Durand the chocolatier was great and ships as well! I was initially a little concerned at the lack of pool but your solution has worked out great for us. Once we explained we were staying at your house the hotel staff have been really helpful. I'd suggest staying there for lunch or dinner because they have a great chef. Other than that all is well. Despite your notes we found the Weber bbq to be working perfectly and didn't like the new one as much. What more can I say? Oh yes, the views are great (as promised) and Matt just loves staying in and enjoying the different (huge) spaces and your beautiful books. The Redmond's send their best and I'll send you some drawings and paintings the kids have done at the end of our stay. A bientot, G.Z"
