  • Beautiful view over the Luberon and fabulous pool, walking distance from lovely village.

"The house served the needs of four adults well - comfortable, convenient especially as the weather was perfect and we spent much of the time outside on the terrace and in the pool. The kitchen is on the small side but generally well equipped, the lounge very spacious and comfortable. It's a short uphill walk to the beautiful historic village of Goult which has very good shops and the excellent Café de la Poste."

  • Paradise in Provence

"This property is simply amazing. We recently enjoyed a family vacation with friends (4 adults and 2 kids) and we could not have chosen a more picturesque or perfect location for our week long stay. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need including very comfortable beds. The outdoor space is stunning. Our kids (ages 3 and 4.5) loved the pool, my husband mastered the charcoal bbq and we ate out on the terrace many nights. Le Grand Tilleul is located near several of the historic and quaint Provencal towns and wineries and is the perfect distance for stunning countryside drives or day trips to some of the Luberon valley's best markets. One of the highlights of our time in Goult was taking a cooking class at Venice en Provence. Not to miss if you are foodies like ourselves. We highly recommend this beautiful home and it's lovely owners who were very friendly and provided us with tons of information about the surrounding area. This was certainly a bucket list trip for us and an experience we will never forget. We hope to venture back to Le Grand Tilleul for another incredible family adventure and live the beautiful Provence life once again."

  • Exceptionally beautiful, peaceful place!

"My family and I spent two lovely weeks at Villa Manon. The villa's public areas showcase the exceptional views by opening to the large terraces that surround the spacious pool. The bedrooms are large and have modern up to date bathrooms. The kitchen is a cook's dream- fully equipped ! Our family spent many happy evenings cooking or grilling our "market finds" and then enjoying our efforts outside on the lovely terrace with mesmerizing views. Besides enjoying the pool, we had many spirited bocci ball contests on the court by the side of the home. Plus it was such a pleasure to cut a few roses and other flowers from the large gardens that surround the home. Finally, we felt the location of the villa was perfect- plenty of privacy, yet close enough to run into Goult for breakfast croissants or to dine at the town's several excellent restaurants. We also liked the fact that Goult, while charming, was not as crowded as the other close by more well-known Luberon hill towns. All in all, a perfect place to stay in the Luberon- we are definitely coming back!!"

  • Amazing House in a Great Location

"Twelve 60ish adults rented this house for our biannual get together. The transaction was amazingly simple and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. The house can easily accommodate 14 and there was space for everyone and everyone could have a space if they wanted to get away. The kitchen was fabulous for the nights that we ate in and the dining options in the area were superb. We ate twice in Menerbes and other nights in the surrounding towns. There was no shortage of things to do for the week -- hiking, eating, drinking, and touring the countryside. You are close to absolutely picturesque places and can get into Avignon and Aix Provence easily. If traveling to the house, I would recommend through Paris and the high-speed rail to Avignon (renting a car at the station) -- actually easier than Nice or Marseilles -- unless you want to do those cities. We had wine every night beside the pool and in mid-September it was nice to have had it heated. Final comment is you cannot go wrong but do get good directions to the house -- while it is just a short walk into town, and we did it every morning for fresh bread, the first time arriving at the house we all searched."
