  • Charming Location in a Quiet Provencal Town

"If you are looking to spend some time in authentic town in the Luberon, this is the place for you! This property was perfectly located directly in the heart of the small town of Goult, walking distance to the free parking as well as all of the local shops. The grocer, butcher and cheese shop are literally right next door, and the bakery is just down the street! One night we had dinner down the street at La Terrasse (recommended by our lovely hostess) and it was the best meal of our lives. Goult is located directly in the middle of the Luberon valley, so every town is only a 15 minute (max) drive from there. The location couldn't have been better. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with whatever we needed. Regine was very accommodating, and spoke enough English for us to communicate easily enough. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends!"

  • Wonderful week at gorgeous Provence home

"Hi Ann, We just had to tell you that we had such a wonderful time at Les Murets. Your home was so gorgeous! It is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is also so homey and comfortable. Once we settled in, we went over your suggestions for daily activities. We used it as our guide all week. It was wonderful. We went to the market in Coustellet and bought some produce. Then we headed to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. That market was wonderful. We bought some items there and then had a really nice lunch in a little outdoor restaurant on the canal. Every day was beautiful and we did so much - went to the markets you suggested, great restaurants and shopped. We went to the Lavender Museum and the grocery stores Utile in Cavaillon and Super U in Coustellet. We loved the Gordes Market and spent hours there. We all bought clothes, tablecloths, oil paintings, gifts, etc. and ate at an adorable little restaurant near the castle, Creperie De Fan and then went to Roussillon which we loved and stopped at a Winery, Domaine de Tara on the way home. We went to Saint Remy and ate in a cute little restaurant in town, L’Aile Ou La Cui. We went to Mausole St. Paul. We spent a day in the walled city in Avignon. And we went to Fontaine de Vaucluse. That town was so lovely. Your suggestions were so helpful. We tried to explore on our own too. We spent a lot of time getting lost and driving around the roundabouts. In doing so, we came upon some beautiful scenery and places. And we met the most wonderful people. Everyone everywhere we went was so nice and friendly. We absolutely loved Provence and staying in Les Murets. We were all sorry that we didn’t have two weeks at Les Murets. We didn’t spend nearly enough time in your beautiful home. We were just settling in and getting used to everything when it was time to leave. We all hope to go back. It was one of the best vacations we ever had. Thank you Ann for your hospitality and please thank Nicholas again for everything. He was great!"

  • Amazing House in a Great Location

"Twelve 60ish adults rented this house for our biannual get together. The transaction was amazingly simple and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. The house can easily accommodate 14 and there was space for everyone and everyone could have a space if they wanted to get away. The kitchen was fabulous for the nights that we ate in and the dining options in the area were superb. We ate twice in Menerbes and other nights in the surrounding towns. There was no shortage of things to do for the week -- hiking, eating, drinking, and touring the countryside. You are close to absolutely picturesque places and can get into Avignon and Aix Provence easily. If traveling to the house, I would recommend through Paris and the high-speed rail to Avignon (renting a car at the station) -- actually easier than Nice or Marseilles -- unless you want to do those cities. We had wine every night beside the pool and in mid-September it was nice to have had it heated. Final comment is you cannot go wrong but do get good directions to the house -- while it is just a short walk into town, and we did it every morning for fresh bread, the first time arriving at the house we all searched."

  • magnifique
