  • A lovely home, a retreat among the trees

"Eight women, members of a Portland, Oregon, USA book club, stayed for one fabulous week in #648056, Mas Prefontaine, in May 2016. The house is quite beautiful and well-appointed, with a large, well-stocked kitchen. There were plenty of bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms. Everything was clean and nicely kept. We made day-trips to several close-by sights and villages that are truly worth a visit, including Isle-sur-le-Sorgue, Avignon and the Pont du Gard, Rouissillon, Gordes (only a few kilometers away), and others. There are lots of wineries in the area also. We enjoyed stopping at the local markets and bringing home cheese, olives, bread, sausage, fruits and vegetables for a delicious meal at the house. And the pool is very inviting at the end of a day of travel. We had a wonderful time! Adele M."

  • Wonderful week at gorgeous Provence home

"Hi Ann, We just had to tell you that we had such a wonderful time at Les Murets. Your home was so gorgeous! It is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is also so homey and comfortable. Once we settled in, we went over your suggestions for daily activities. We used it as our guide all week. It was wonderful. We went to the market in Coustellet and bought some produce. Then we headed to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. That market was wonderful. We bought some items there and then had a really nice lunch in a little outdoor restaurant on the canal. Every day was beautiful and we did so much - went to the markets you suggested, great restaurants and shopped. We went to the Lavender Museum and the grocery stores Utile in Cavaillon and Super U in Coustellet. We loved the Gordes Market and spent hours there. We all bought clothes, tablecloths, oil paintings, gifts, etc. and ate at an adorable little restaurant near the castle, Creperie De Fan and then went to Roussillon which we loved and stopped at a Winery, Domaine de Tara on the way home. We went to Saint Remy and ate in a cute little restaurant in town, L’Aile Ou La Cui. We went to Mausole St. Paul. We spent a day in the walled city in Avignon. And we went to Fontaine de Vaucluse. That town was so lovely. Your suggestions were so helpful. We tried to explore on our own too. We spent a lot of time getting lost and driving around the roundabouts. In doing so, we came upon some beautiful scenery and places. And we met the most wonderful people. Everyone everywhere we went was so nice and friendly. We absolutely loved Provence and staying in Les Murets. We were all sorry that we didn’t have two weeks at Les Murets. We didn’t spend nearly enough time in your beautiful home. We were just settling in and getting used to everything when it was time to leave. We all hope to go back. It was one of the best vacations we ever had. Thank you Ann for your hospitality and please thank Nicholas again for everything. He was great!"

  • A home away from home

"We had an amazing time in Provence, all thanks to Emma and Herve's house. It's very well located and easily access. The house is very clean and well equipped, the garden is amazing with a lovely pool. We highly recommend this house to families with young children. Emma and Herve have floats, football, ruby ball, badminton, cards to name a few. At times, we just stayed in and enjoyed the sun and the pool. Thank you Emma and Herve!"

  • Great place for a family holiday

"We loved our stay here in Goult. Beatrice was a wonderful host and met us at the property and could not do enough to help us with any query or challenge we had. The whole house is great - typical French character and each bedroom is unique and cosy. The roof terrace is where we spent most of our evenings and such an added bonus to any holiday property. The kitchen and outdoor space is wonderful and we really felt like it was a home away from home. We would highly recommend to anyone!"
