  • Charm in Provence

"My wife and I really enjoyed our week's stay earlier this month at this large, comfortable, clean, quiet, characteristic and well located apartment. Linda and Robert were very welcoming and cared that our week's stay would go well. Linda helped us plan our Provence day trips and sort through the many excellent restaurants. We very much appreciated the easy walk to the charms of St. Remy. I especially liked my morning visit to the boulangerie for croissants. We did have an authentic Provencal experience while there, the Mistral winds prevented us from enjoying the inviting patio, garden and pool as much as we'd like! Highly recommend St. Remy and this property. Would go back again!"

  • Wonderful apartment and great location

"My husband and I spent 9 nights in St Remy at this delightful townhouse. I can heartily endorse the comments of the 2 previous reviewers. The apartment was spacious, modern and spotless, very well equipped with high quality appliances and furnishings, and the availability of a private car park in a secure gated community was fantastic. The grounds were simply beautiful with lavender just beginning to flower and we thoroughly enjoyed returning each day from our travels to this comfortable and refreshing environment. Julie, the manager was very helpful and available to answer our queries, and the information provided in her booklet was great. St Remy itself is a lovely town and the apartment was a very good base for day trips to surrounding areas; the walk into town only a few short minutes. Our stay here was extremely enjoyable and I would not hesitate to recommend it - we would be very happy to return!"

  • Photos Don't Do Justice

"This wonderful, warm and beautiful home was perfect for our family of 6. The toddler loved the huge grassy area for soccer and games, the teens loved the pool, the ability to walk into town on their own and the bath. The 20 something lounged in the huge living room reading books or out on the patio. The adults enjoyed the quiet downstairs bedroom for morning coffee and a view of the toddler playing on her own. That is a vacation. The kitchen is amazing, we cooked every day. Our host liason spent time helping us plan our adventures and gave us great ideas all while tolerating my very bad French. We traveled Europe for a month and out of all the rental homes, this was our favorite by far. Great location for exploring the entire area and a bonus to be able to walk to Mallaine. Laure is a great communicator, patient and beyond helpful. Crossing my fingers, we'll be back!"

  • French Countryside Bliss

"I have used VRBO/HomeAway several times, from quick getaways to length stays, parties large and small. Never have I received better service than with David and few homes have surpassed the comfort, quality and convenience of this cozy Provençal abode. From the inside out, the home boasts repose and charm, with walls adorning vintage décor including several antique armoires, a grandfather clock and cushy formal living room furniture, along with all the means of a home-away-from-home. The kitchen was small but completely functional and accessible, with a large fridge close by. The master suite upstairs was wonderful, with an adjoining en suite restroom comprised of wide counters, a full-length mirror and a surprisingly spacious shower, plus additional closet space. The master is equipped with a (real!) king bed and large armoire. A second bedroom is located on the main floor with a second half-bath (full restroom with shower) next door and an additional toilet-only restroom next to that. The best part was the sunroom, featuring floor-to-ceiling window-doors that could open up fully to the huge and private front-of-the-house patio. This is the main entry, with plenty of locked doors to feel safe at night – although, who would be worried in this adorable town? – and also connects the entire house to this open, expansive atmosphere. Location was perfect – just set enough outside of the main corridor to be quiet and required a five minute stroll in if you did want the noise. St. Remy is amazing. Whatever your desires, you can find them in this dreamy, picturesque French country village. Restaurants are spectacular, shopping is lovely and the Wednesday farmers market should not be missed! Not to mention the Roman ruins, history and overall stunning sights of the region. I couldn’t recommend this house more as a St. Remy residence or hub for touring Provence. Thank you, David!"
