  • Worth the wait..

"We just spent 8 nights in Paula's penthouse and it was just fabulous. It is everything that the previous reviewers have mentioned - beautiful and smartly designed layout, wonderful local neighbourhood, clean and spacious. Also with Victoria meeting us at the airport to take us to the apartment was a stress free start to our stay. Paula has really put alot of thought into what the apartment offers so you can feel like a local - even down to the shopping trolley that you can take when visiting the nearby grocer or specialty food stores. We had originally planned to stay at the penthouse last year and had to postpone our trip to Sep this year. I had already paid the deposit, and even though I cancelled for last year - I was able to use it as credit for this stay. I researched for a very long time to finally choose Paula's apartment and I am so glad we stayed here. My husband and I are looking forward to returning to Paris and to stay here again. Thank you so much Paula and Victoria!"

  • Great owners. Wonderful stay.

"I recently stayed in this cozy two bedroom flat with my two sons for close to 8 weeks beginning In late October of 2015. We could not have imagined staying in a more peaceful and secure offering for our London adventure. The flat is just a three minute walk to Kent House Station where every 15 minutes a train brings you to Victoria Station in just 20 minutes. New Beckenham Station is just a 9 minute walk and brings you to London Bridge. The flat delivers all the comforts of home in a very traditional English fashion, and the owner is remarkably attentive. It's quite quiet and welcoming once inside. The owner doesn't live nearby, but has a very responsible nearby contact who was prompt in her assistance at getting us into the flat. There was also a very detailed information document with all of the pertinent need to know items clearly and concisely described. I can't say enough about how happy we were with this flat. We bought our groceries in nearby Penge at just an 8 minute walk. The flat was a wonderful place to rest after a day exploring London. There is a good sized flat screen TV with plenty of channels, and the kitchen is very well stocked. We won't hesitate to stay here again when we return. It was perfect for us. The owner couldn't have been more professional and courteous. I highly recommend this flat for all who wish to see London with ease, but without the excessive cost of being downtown."

  • Amazing House in a Great Location

"Twelve 60ish adults rented this house for our biannual get together. The transaction was amazingly simple and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. The house can easily accommodate 14 and there was space for everyone and everyone could have a space if they wanted to get away. The kitchen was fabulous for the nights that we ate in and the dining options in the area were superb. We ate twice in Menerbes and other nights in the surrounding towns. There was no shortage of things to do for the week -- hiking, eating, drinking, and touring the countryside. You are close to absolutely picturesque places and can get into Avignon and Aix Provence easily. If traveling to the house, I would recommend through Paris and the high-speed rail to Avignon (renting a car at the station) -- actually easier than Nice or Marseilles -- unless you want to do those cities. We had wine every night beside the pool and in mid-September it was nice to have had it heated. Final comment is you cannot go wrong but do get good directions to the house -- while it is just a short walk into town, and we did it every morning for fresh bread, the first time arriving at the house we all searched."
