  • excellent apartment in Marais

"We had stayed a week in this lovely apartment. There were everything we needed in this apartment. The host "Alexandra" is very kind. We had a great time in this area, a lovely park,a outdoor market,a chees shop and a bakery etc.. We hope to stay Alexandra's lovely and comfortable apartment again for our next travel in Paris."

  • Fabulous apartment to stay in the heart of the Latin quarter

"If you have ever wandered the streets of Paris (particularly the Latin quarter) and dreamed of living like a Parisian in one of those beautiful apartments - then this is your chance. Situated on the first floor floor (there is a lift if required) and on a street corner, the apartment kitchen/living area has 3 great windows - so lots of light and street views. When the windows are open you can enjoy all the sounds of a bustling Paris street - close the windows and it is quiet and calm. The apartment was very comfortable, a good size, well equipped, clean and well maintained. Self service check in and check out was very clear and straightforward. Responses from the host were prompt, efficient and friendly. Other reviews have mentioned the shower, the bed and the security refund. The shower has a side screen and keeping the water from falling directly onto this screen stops water dripping onto the floor - this is quite manageable and the shower pressure is great. The shower is located in the bath and the bath is quite high so this may not suit people with mobility issues. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. It is low to the ground on a proper bed frame (not on the ground) The washing machine worked perfectly and if drying clothes quickly is an issue, there is a laundromat next door. Our deposit was refunded within 4 working days of our stay. Overall - this is a great apartment in a wonderful location (very close to a Metro station and bus stops). We would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends."

  • Excellent choice for first timers to Venice

"My sister and I and our five children stayed at this apartment for a few days in the heat of summer. Booking was smooth and communication was great. The apartment stayed nice and pleasantly cool with aircon. There are lots of stairs up to the apartment so visitors with mobility issues should look elsewhere. Our kids had no problems at all with the stairs. Bathrooms are spotless and new. Beds are comfortable, all linens are very nice. Check in contact person, Adair, was very very kind and helpful. Supermarket is a five minute walk away. Apartment was spotless, stylish, and comfortable. There is no central living room or lounge but we kept busy and it didn't matter. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a great meal. A canal runs right beside the building and you can watch gondoliers out the window and hear them singing -- very romantic! Great gelato and wine just downstairs. Easy to access from the train station. We took a water taxi direct to the airport from the Grand Canal (three minute walk - 140 euros for 7 of us) -- made the trip very easy! Highly recommend."

  • Amazing!!

"I was referred by friends to this location that stayed here. They told me how great it was but it was even better than expected. The views were incredible. Philomena and her daughter were so nice and helpful with facts and fun things about the area. We enjoyed hikes without ever having to get in a car. We didn't have s bad meal anywhere, enjoyed the local pubs in Ballyferriter as well as in Dingle. I can't wait to go back. We stayed for a week then headed north to Galway and Dublin. Had fun in those areas but enjoyed my time at the Stone Cottage so much more."
