  • Perfect vacation!!

"This is a beautiful home, great location - central for day trips. Beautiful views, quiet location for relaxing and yet close enough walk to a local restaurant/pub! We would come back with no hesitation! Gerry/Property Manager was very helpful with recommendations of car drives and local attractions and was a super nice guy that was available but not overbearing!"

  • Well-appointed place with a wonderful view!

"This place is close enough to Galway to walk to the city center, but just far away to provide peace and quiet. The little town of Salthill has a cute coffee shop and a great pub. Do not miss eating st Ard Via, right near the Spanish Arch. We also listened to great Irish music at The Crane Bar. Sean was a kind and helpful host, and you would have anything you needed to eat in if you like."

  • Perfect home away from home!

"We stayed for 5 beautiful days in Aisling cottage with our 5 year old son. Everything you'd ever need is here. Connie did a marvelous job sharing information about places to visit, restaurants to try and where to go listen to live music. She arranged a private walk through the Burren for the 3 of us, which was the highlight of our stay--her friend Mary, who led the walk, provided great stories of the area. She was magnificently patient with our son, and showed us places that even people who are locals for years to the area have never seen. For that, we are eternally grateful. The home is lovely, a picturesque cottage in the midst of trees and a beautiful garden. It really is magical, what I pictured the wild of Ireland to be like. There's plenty of room for a huge family, with several bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate dining spaces, not to mention the entire space outside which is great for kids---plenty of space to explore and roam around carelessly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We'd never been to Ireland before, and all of our experiences---the wonderfully kind, patient and gentle people, the wild landscapes, the magic in the air---it all comes together beautifully at Aisling Cottage. Thank you so much!"

  • Perfect!

"This cottage and its surroundings are exactly as described in the listing. I took a photo almost every time I passed the kitchen window because it was difficult to believe THAT view! The cottage is comfortably furnished, clean and spacious, too; yet, lighting a fire in the fireplace at night makes the house so cozy. The place is secluded, but there are distant houses so that you don't feel completely isolated. In front of the cottage is a beautiful green field which you can cross to get to The Cliffs of Moher. They are right there at the field's edge. We walked the trail in both directions. The Cliffs are spectacular. Doolin is a short drive in one direction, and Liscannor is a short drive in the other direction. We found great food and music in Doolin, but it was difficult to want to leave the cottage for long. Each time we ventured out, we found ourselves missing the peacefulness and the views. So, we often brought our food back to the cottage to enjoy at the gorgeous farm table in front of the fireplace. Of course, the kitchen is fully equipped, too. We made breakfast there each morning. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here or with our visit to Ireland. We will always treasure these memories."
