  • Idylic Country Setting

"I Couldn't possibly say enough great things about this place! It was just what we were looking for. Beautiful country setting that was perfect for soaking up the Irish countryside. Carol and Kevin were the perfect host and hostess. They invited us to have coffee with them every morning and then gave us suggestions on places to go for the day. The cottage itself was very nice and comfortably furnished. It definitely felt like a home away from home. If there were any problems or concerns, which there wasn't, they were right there to fix it. Do not pass this hidden gem up! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!"

  • More than met our expectations

"We had an excellent first visit to Ireland. Fanore Lodge was in just the right location for us: close to tourist attractions but removed from crowds. My wife enjoyed taking morning walks on the Burren while I got to sleep in in the cozy bedroom. We enjoyed the books and music in the sitting room and the fire which was warm and relaxing after a day out of doors. We found Fanore Lodge to be comfortable and lovely, quiet and authentic."

  • beautiful week centrally located

"We ended a great week at this nicely appointed cottage that was clean and had plenty of space for my husband and self , teenage son and mother. The town, a quick walk for a pint at the end of a great day of sightseeing, had everything you need pubs, restaurants and a large grocery store. It is also just a short drive (or bike ride) to the coast and wild atlantic way or into the Burren. We used it as an easy base for a trip to Galway the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Portumna and Logh Derg as all the drives were beautiful in themselves. The cottage owners are on the premises and were both helpful and unobtrusive offering us assistance if needed. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a family or two couples looking for a great base to explore the area."

  • Wonderful vacation rental.

"This is the best vacation rental that I have even seen. Completely thought out is all aspects, with en-suite facilities for all bedrooms. A massive easy to sue kitchen, dinning space for all and plenty of space for gathering with or hiding from you fellow vacationers. The laundry facilities are scaled to the size of the house and the grounds a ideal for outdoor time. Our group of 11 had no complaints or disappointments with any aspect of the building, and the only change that a few of the guests would have made would to have been to add yet another restroom, this time under the stairs."
