  • Top Notch Vacation Home

"The first week of February my husband and our two teenage children had the privilege of vacationing at this beautiful glass house by the ocean. Brendan was so very helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better host. Thank you Brendan!! The floorplan for this home is the most well thought out I've ever seen. From every room on the bottom floor your view of the water is never obscured. Upstairs the view of the water is the first thing you see in the morning when you open your eyes. What a surreal and relaxing experience it is to see God's glorious masterpiece right in front of you from 90% of all the rooms in this home. Ireland is amazingly beautiful and on the days we just wanted to relax and not go anywhere we never felt slighted by missing these gorgeous scenes outside because they surrounded us even in the house. The kitchen is a lovely scandinavian design, extremely equipped with lots of extras, and everywhere you go in this home there is evidence of quality touch notch items at your disposal. The owners of this home clearly put much thought into comfort for their guests and right down to every piece of furniture communicated good taste and top level quality. I conclude like many others who left reviews that the master bedroom bed is heavenly and the most comfortable I have ever experienced. My own bed at home has always been my favorite and not because of familiarity but rather super comfort. When we would travel it was always a bit of difficult adjustment for me to get a good night sleep elsewhere, as no bed ever compared to my own's comfort. When I arrived back to the states I immediately set to trying to find this exact mattress for ourselves! Yes....it is that good:) The town of Liscannore is quaint and of course the Cliffs of Moher are our personal favorite view of the landscape. We loved the simplistic quality of the grocery stores, which are very different from the american ones. Learning all the differences there was new and exciting. I love the town and we spent many days just joy riding and lucked into some of the best picture taking situations. Vaughans restaurant was a big disappointment for my husband, as he is quite a foodie. He found it to be extremely overpriced and the quality was not what we expected. My husband much more enjoyed visiting the local grocery store and getting fresh seafood (his favorite) and bringing it back to the house to cook. The fish was delicious and the price was very reasonable! Can't wait to come back!!!"

  • Spectacular location, brilliant house.

"This place is brilliant, a perfect location for walking, cycling and wild swimming. Fanore beach is stunning and this is the closest house to it. A good kitchen if you want to cokk but the local pubs and restaurants are really good. Plenty of live music in Doolin."

  • Fabulous house for a large group

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay at the Cliff House in late August 2016. There were 12 of us and the house was perfect. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out and still have personal space to get away from the crowd. We all had a fabulous time in Doolin and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend the Cliff House!"

  • My impression of the 5 bedroom cottage in Fanore

"As soon as we entered the the farming hamlet of Fanore I realized we had found just what we had been looking for. We were coming from Shannon after being in a busy Dublin, Waterford, Kinsale, Dingle and Ennis. I wanted to see and talk with locals. I found that in Fanore and Ballyvaughan. The unique Burren was wonderful as well as beautiful. Anne and her house was just perfect for us. A big cottage with lots of space to spread out. The peat that was provided lasted our entire four day stay, with a cozy fire every evening. Walks on Fanore Beach were relaxing. My wife especially enjoyed waking up to see the livestock curiously watching us roam about. The kitchen was well laid out and had any utensil we needed. The secure parking at the front door was convenient and dinner in Ballyvaughan (a short drive away) had several good restaurants to chose from. There were several interesting attractions near by and Sunday Mass at the local church made the stay complete. Thanks Anne."
