  • Lovely stay, beautiful home and location!

"We had a lovely 4 nights at the cottage-beautiful views of the ocean, great walking directly out front and short drives to everything else we wanted to see in the area. Comfortable beds, great espresso maker, and outdoor patio made our trip extra enjoyable. The area is so peaceful, sunsets over the water were amazing and we all slept wonderfully. Many thanks to Adrienne and John for being so hospitable! Highly recommend!"

  • Charming cottage in a perfect location!

"I am convinced this cottage is in the most perfect location in all of Ireland. The cottage is located on the southern portion of the cliffs of Moher. There is a couple of cow pastures between the home and the cliffs, so it was perfectly safe for our young children, but it was so close we had the best views. We also got to experience the cliffs without the crowds. The home itself is so much bigger than I expected! We had plenty of room for five adults and two children. The fireplace is completely charming and we used it regularly. Anything you can possibly need is available, and the cottage caretaker is only a phone call away for any questions. Thank you so much Kim, for the use of your beautiful home. We had a wonderful stay!"

  • Beautiful home with spectacular views.

"My husband and I spent a wonderful week Clahane Lodge. It is everything that we had expected it to be and more. Many many beautiful locations are within easy traveling distance from the lodge including the Cliffs of Moher which are less than 2 miles away. If you are Catholic or just want a moving experience be sure to visit Saint Bridget's well which is less than a mile from the house. The village of Lahinch itself is quaint with absolutely wonderful people. Lahinch golf course is a stone's throw away. Many of golf greatest have played there. The house served us and two other couples without any problems. It was clean, plenty of hot water, well equipped kitchen and the pictures on the web site do not do the house justice. It is so much more beautiful. Brendan is owner and caretaker of the property. He is a delight. Very helpful with sightseeing ideas. Checked in on us three times but did not "hover". He was available to us via his cell phone any time we needed to call (which was for destination advice, never a house problem ). Our "next door neighbor" is a delightful man who owns Gus O'Connors Pub in Doolin. This is a must "visit". The atmosphere is what is expected of an Irish Pub with great food, live Irish music and a hard working staff. I would HIGHLY recommend this home to anyone visiting Ireland who wants a typical Irish experience."
