  • Beautiful home

"My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this home. My husband and son enjoyed the fire pit outside the home, the first night was magical the way the stars were out. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the television, VCR/DVD player, washer and dryer all worked well. The house has a nice touch with comfy pillows and beautiful plants it set up very nicely. The location is good your close enough to Limerick city and Ennis is a short drive away. We would recommend this place the owner Gillian was very pleasant to deal with. Evelyn Callaghan, Queens NY"

  • What an excellent find - 5* holiday accomodation

"Whilst looking for somewhere for 6 adults to go over new year in Ireland I came across this coach house in beautiful grounds. If I was impressed with the photos on the web site that was nothing compared to how we felt when we first saw the coach house. It was spacious, exceptionally clean, well stocked/equipped and incredibly warm. Annie and Jim were very friendly, they welcomed us when we arrived and very helpful. The coach house sits in a remote location which suited us. There is a short walk to the edge of the Loch and about half an hour walk to the nearest pub that provided food. A trip in the summer would be good as we could take advantage of some of the boat trips etc"

  • A gem of a spot.

"Ballyvaughan is the perfect spot to spend time and see the beauty and culture of County Claire. We loved visiting the Whiskey Bar and meeting the owner, Margaret. The Tea Shop just a block away was superb. The hike with our guide, Shane Connolly, in the Burren was fantastic. We enjoyed the views of the ocean from the house and yard, meeting the charming people in the town and travelling around such gorgeous countryside. The cottage was comfortable. We had everything we needed and much more. Thanks to Richard for his clear and helpful instructions to get to the cottage and for all the tips that were provided."

  • Idylic Country Setting

"I Couldn't possibly say enough great things about this place! It was just what we were looking for. Beautiful country setting that was perfect for soaking up the Irish countryside. Carol and Kevin were the perfect host and hostess. They invited us to have coffee with them every morning and then gave us suggestions on places to go for the day. The cottage itself was very nice and comfortably furnished. It definitely felt like a home away from home. If there were any problems or concerns, which there wasn't, they were right there to fix it. Do not pass this hidden gem up! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!"
