  • Wonderful Stay

"This house is just as advertised--maybe better. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and beautifully situated. We and another couple spent three nights here last week. From this home base we were able to drive all around the Burren, up to Clifden, and into Galway for some great adventures. We enjoyed sunsets walking in this quiet neighbourhood and the freshly-made ice cream from a place down the street was a particular treat. Can't recommend Heron Cottage enthusiastically enough."

  • Queen of Turin

"Turin Castle was my dream come true! The one thing that was a must for me to do in Ireland was live in a castle. Turin Castle was absolutely beautiful. The owners have gone above and beyond to make it comfortable and functional while staying true to the authenticity of the time period of the castle. The green fields surrounding the castle made it very private. We watched shooting stars from the top on our last night. Perfect! My niece had a banner made for me that said Queen of Turin. That is what I felt like my entire stay."

  • Great base to visit Connemara - a must when going to Ireland. Wonderful cottage and hostess!

"We spent a week in Apr/16 at Jasmine Cottage - using it as a base to see the Connemara area of Ireland. Amelia's knowledge, insight, humor and suggestions were like having our own travel guide for a part of Ireland one must see. We took her advise on most day excursions. Amelia has a draft of a travel guide in the Cottage for the area which was very helpful and we often used to plan our sightseeing. Her passion is understandable, Connemara is breathtaking. The cottage worked well for two of us. We ate in most nights and had a couple of stay at home days. Amelia's taste and care shows - this feels like a home. She generously provided breakfast materials for a few days and 2-3 nights material for fires. Things like wi-fi, heat (no extra charge) etc worked well - neither a guarantee unfortunately in some places. Only turned the TV on twice for some Masters golf (thank you BBC, since there are no sports channels). Heartily recommend."

  • Ideal location to unwind and enjoy the Kingdom of Kerry

"If you are looking for a property that is secluded, charismatic and with stunning views this is one for you. I've been going to Ballinskelligs for over 35years due to family connections. We had to make a visit at very shot notice but Daphne was incredibly responsive and flexible. Nothing was too much bother and her local contact, Eileen is lovely. We had 10 nights at this property and it just felt like home from the first night. Highly recommended for an authentic Irish experiences."
