  • The perfect hide-a-way for our honeymoon!

"This cottage was the perfect Hide-a-way for our honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed comeing back, after touring around each day, to the cozy fireplace. Having our own kitchen made it easy to store and cook food which we savored by the fire with a bottle of wine. It was the peaceful, relaxing vacation we imagined."

  • Very comfortable and warm

"The accommodation is great value for money. With 4 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms it met our needs very well. This is a traditional Irish home and reminded me very much of my childhood holidays to Ireland. The views are stunningly breath-taking, the lounge and two of the bedrooms look out over Bantry Bay and Widdy Island. It's a short drive to Glengraffi, which has a few shops, pubs and some excellent restaurants. Prefect retreat, very peaceful. Great walking and site seeing, friendly neighbours if you get to see them. The owners are really lovely and helpful. We will definitely return."

  • Perfect Place to Stay, ideal location

"Can't say enough positive things about the chalet and hosts. The setting was peaceful. The property is a tucked away and there is no car noise, which is exactly what we wanted coming from a city. The bed is VERY comfortable. The whole arrangement afforded us the best nights sleep my wife and I have had in ages. Kitchen has everything needed and is stocked with some essential items like cooking oil, salt, pepper, tea bags, etc. The hosts are wonderful and shared some farm fresh duck eggs. Not a far drive to explore the peninsula. Make sure you go to Three Castle Head and do the little hike up to the top overlooking the castle and water. Breathtaking. Anyhow, no regrets booking this property. This made our first trip to Ireland very memorable."

  • Mezmorizing view!

"We had a mini family reunion at Sea Spray November 19th - 24th before we set out to explore the northern part of the Republic of Ireland. We experienced the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Ballinglana Cove. We were actually surprised by the number we got to enjoy as we expected much more rain that we got. The home has a great layout with comfortable furniture, and once we figured out the hot water booster so that we all had hot water for showers we all were happy campers. The only thing I would suggest for future guests of Sea Spray is to be sure to arrive your first day while there is sun light. The address was not on Google maps, and we got a little lost trying to find it in the dark. Otherwise ourstay was wonderful! Thank you Doris for sharing your preserves and other goodies. We also left some firewood and other goodies for your next guests. We will always remember our time in Clonakilty and Sea Spray. Forever your friends in Sweet Home Alabama, USA Tricia Tidwell"
