  • Beautiful home & so close to everything in Kenmare

"The house was beautiful and very convenient to walk over to the Kenmare town square. There is a quiet walking path behind the house that takes you straight there and no need to walk along busy roads! If you need any quick groceries, it's just across the street at the Centra store. Or you can go to larger stores like Lidl just down the road. Back to the house, we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Patricia even went out of her way to find us some extras that we needed. Living room is comfy and the bedrooms were as well. A nice patio in the back for breakfast outside and a view of the sheep in the neighboring farm. Multiple bathrooms made it easy for everyone to get ready at once. Thanks Patricia for letting us use your place and for taking good care of us during our stay!"

  • Absolutely blown away with our experience!

"Our large family were on vacation celebrating our (grand)parent's 50th wedding anniversary. We were planning day trips all around the "Ring of Kerry" for 10 days and we needed a place to comfortably accommodate our family with enough room to relax on down days from travel. When we arrived at Dunkarron House our whole family was beyond excited about the property. The pictures and descriptions do not do it justice by far! Some highlights of what we loved about Dunkarron House: Bedrooms of different sizes for everyone with multiple master suites, plenty of bathrooms, large modern kitchen, large dining room with fireplace, game room with ping pong and pool table, sun room with TV & DVD, bar room with fridge (for our Guiness), multiple living room areas with fireplace(s) to relax, high-speed WiFi, laundry room with washer/dryer, historic castle ruins on the property, river-front picnic area (short walk from house), short distance to Kenmare (with great restaurants, pubs, shops). The owner and property managers were a great pleasure to meet and they made our experience extremely enjoyable. Any questions we had were promptly attended to. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away and relax and experience the Ring of Kerry from a convenient location. I personally would definitely return!"

  • WOW!!!! quiet luxury

"Easy arrangements with John. The property exceeded any expectations we had. A tree lined lane and a gurgling river introduced us to this peaceful countryside retreat . Amenities well above the usual standard (Bose, satellite TV, very well equipped kitchen), space for all and wonderfully comfy beds. It was 5 minutes to Kenmare, a delightful town on the Ring of Kerry. We debated coming back here -or staying longer-- even though we had 'done County Kerry'. A five star property!!"

  • Perfect for a couple

"The accommodation is literally just a stone's throw from the quay in Schull. It has two bedrooms (we only used one) and was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a just what we were looking for in Schull - which is a wonderful place for a holiday."
