  • Relaxing, enjoyable base for experiencing Dublin and surrounding area

"We loved our stay at this comfortable, light-filled apartment--the giant windows in every room offered views out to the ever-changing sky and treetops with a peek of the sea to the East. We loved the Donnybrook neighborhood! It was close enough to Dublin's city center to walk or take the bus (we mostly walked downtown and then took the bus back), but felt like we came "home" to our own "village" with local shops and pubs. We typically spent the day out exploring the many sites of Dublin and then came back for dinner and relaxing. We shopped at the green grocer, meat market, liquor store, Tesco, and Donnybrook Fair for simple meal preparation supplies. And we ate excellent meals in the neighborhood at O'Connells and Rolys (and saw many other places we wanted to try but ran out of time). The flat is exactly as described in the listing--in fact I think the photos don't quite do it justice. It is impeccably clean and the kitchen is well-fitted for easy food preparation. The bathroom had the best lighting of our entire trip! We appreciated Felicity's advice and assistance regarding navigating the Aircoach during the bus strike, as well as seeing the sights, such as my question for filling our last day. She recommended a Dart ride along the sea to the village of Dalkey for a walk and lunch. Perfect! I recommend this flat very highly and we hope we can return soon."

  • Wonderful home, relaxing stay

"We loved our time staying at the modern cottage in Rathgar. The home was beautiful, well kept, comfortable and had everything you would need. The location was great - just a short distance from Dublin city center - easy access by bus, even with 2 kids under 5. Rathgar is extremely cute, beautiful streets, grocery stores, great cafes and restaurants and very friendly neighbors. Our 4 year old had great fun playing with the older kids nearby. Our stay here made for a very enjoyable and relaxing time. Would certainly love to return one day. Thank you!!"

  • Wonderful Flat in a great area of town

"We had a wonderful time in Dublin and the flat worked great! The on-line pictures do not do the apartment justice! We loved the full kitchen and the washer dryer were a big help. Brendan was very helpful and made sure we lacked for nothing. The binder in the flat had everything we could want or need at our fingertips. Some of the things we did: take a Guinness tour, see the Goal, and the Book of Kells at Trinity College which were all right in Dublin. We also took a day trip to Blarney Castle. We all had a wonderful time. I would recommend this flat to family, friends and strangers alike."

  • Excellent location, very quiet

"The location of the flat could not be better. It's a couple minute walk to the Temple Bar area or the Jarvis area and just around the corner from O'Connell street and the Luas. There is also a great Marks and Spencer grocery store just behind the building near the Jarvis mall. Even though the flat is in a very busy location because it looks in toward the courtyard it's very quiet. David has outfitted the flat with top of the line bath fittings and kitchen appliances. It's very spacious and comfortable. This is one of the best places we have stayed in all of our travels."
