"Wow, wow, wow! We had an amazing time! An incredible setting. My imagination had my expectations fairly lofty and it did not disappoint. We were royalty for the week. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and reachable yet we were left alone to enjoy. The lovely women down the road came and catered our vow renewal and it was amazing. We were able go to many of the sites we wanted to see easily from the location. We are already hoping that one day we can have the fantasy Christmas at this splendid castle. You are in for a rare treat! I cannot say enough about our experience, a memory that will be cherished."

"This lovely cottage on Mannin Bay in the Connemara region is exactly as depicted in the photos and description. The house is bright and cheerful with updated amenities. The large picture window in the main living area was our entertainment as we watched the seals and herons. Melanie made sure we knew how to use the fireplace which we did at night. She placed fresh flowers on the table to greet us and made sure we knew how to reach her during our stay. Melanie gave us suggestions for sightseeing including making sure we knew about a children's parade in nearby Clifden that weekend. It is a bit longer of a drive on narrow roads back to Galway City than we anticipated so we modified our plans to stay in the Connemara region. The cottage provided a quiet home base for our visit. The house is well equipped including a kitchen which met our needs completely. We didn't see that reflective safety vests were in the house as we had seen in other lodgings during our visit to the country. The roads are not well lit so be sure to bring your own gear if you plan to walk during the evening or early morning. Otherwise, we wanted for nothing and we would definitely recommend this wonderful house for anyone wanting a place to stay while visiting Connemara."
