"I dream about this house now that I am home. I wish I was still there, reading my book in the window seat, or soaking in the Master Bathroom tub, or curled up on the couch with the lamps on. There are so many lovely spots in the house to relax I had to make sure I tried them all. The house is so beautifully built and well -appointed, you really do feel spoiled. We took care of the house as if it were our own, and I would love to return and spend even more time there. We spent lots of days driving about the beautiful Irish countryside, I think next time I'd spend more time at home, just relaxing. (The beds are very comfortable and clean , clean , clean as well.)"

  • Amazing house--great for large or multiple families!

"We (4 adults and 4 teenagers) recently returned from our stay at the Priory. The house is amazing--spacious, comfortable, beautifully appointed and full of character. I should also mention that the wifi was great, which made the teenagers very happy. The Priory is well situated in Killarney, but at the same time it is private and removed from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed exploring Killarney and the surrounding areas by day and returning to the Priory for rest and relaxation in the evening. Tim and Bernie are lovely people and were very helpful with recommendations on numerous fronts. From Dux for the Gap of Dunloe to Dave for the Ring of Kerry, not to mention excellent pub and restaurant options (you must eat at Bricin), their guidance was invaluable. I must also mention that Tim introduced us to the Killarney Brewing Company, of which he is part owner. The beers are really good and readily available in the local pubs in draught and/or bottle. KBC is a nice stop too if you like brewery tours and tastings."

  • warm cozy cottage in a spectacular location

"Philomenas cottage was just what we were looking for - a little getaway in beautiful countryside. We felt right at home in the little cottage which was clean and had everything we needed. She and her daughter were welcoming and helpful. A short walk away was an amazingly beautiful hike along the sea - we cut through the meadow (two track road) to the Blasket Island center where a map of the hike was available. We spent another wonderful day on Great Blasket Island The boat is a short walk from the cottage. Our nightly routine was a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers out on the picnic table looking at the sea before going in to light a fire and cook (or riding into town for dinner). There is a firm four night minimum policy and a 90 day cancellation policy but you ll want to stay longer :)"
