  • Best home we've ever rented

"My family of five was traveled to Ireland from the states for the first time and we were looking for a home away from home. We found it! This home was so comfortable and the set up couldn't have been better. The kids had their bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, they could sleep late and not be bothered by us waking early and vice versa. The separate living room (that no one had to sleep in because of the more than adequate bedroom accommodations) was perfect for them staying up late or me rising early. It was just a very comfortable home. As soon as we walked in my teens ran through the place saying this was their favorite place. As for the owners I cannot say enough there either. They were so accommodating answering my questions before we came and helping me out of a bind while we were there. I had forgotten to print my boarding passes (required for non EU members) and had asked if there was a library or someplace I could go to do it. They said send them the PDF and they would take care of it. The next day we enjoyed the Ring of Kerry and when we returned home our boarding passes were there. One last mention, thank you for the room darkening shades. It stays light very late in the summer and the bedroom was solidly dark with those pulled. I greatly appreciated that when we went on to our next stop and didn't have any there. We will definitely stay here again. I've already recommended it to friends."

"What a fabulous time six lifelong friends had in Leah and Eric's beautiful house on the Ring of Dingle! After hiking the gorgeous area called Clougher Strand a bit (an hour or twoevery day), enjoying the very informative historical and archeological tour with Eric (not to be missed), taking a thousand pictures or more of the breathtaking vistas, tapping a lively foot or two at the local music concerts practically every night, fishing out of the sea and a local restaurant chef serving it up for us, and making pottery purchases at the gallery down the road, what more could be done to make this a perfect stay?! Well, there is the perfectly appointed house that was so cozy and comfortable with original paintings done by family members, high end appliances to make cooking a really fun activity, and spectacular views out of every window. Leah made sure we knew how to manage the workings throughout the house with tasteful cards posting directions in case we were unsure! Loved that! The six of us had the perfect stay in their lovely home. We felt very welcome, and send our humble thank yous to Leah and Eric for making this stay so wonderful. Dingle, and in particular, Clougher Strand, has now become our favorite spot in Ireland!"
