  • Our Killarney Adventure

"We, my husband and I, our daughter, two sons and two daughter in laws, arrived at the house and were immediately greeted and let into this fabulous home. After being given the tour of this beautiful home, which is spacious and spectacular, Eilleen asked about our family and what we wanted to see in the area. As we were enjoying a cup of tea together,(because Eileen and Mary had supplied us with some goodies) Eileen showed us many places to go to in the Killarney area which included restaurants, pubs, shops, and many sites of interest. Our favorite was the Dingle Peninsula, so beautiful! Our stay was most enjoyable and we were able to gather around the table and enjoy meals together, a fully equipped kitchen with very modern appliances made that possible. The town of Killarney is a five minute walk away, there are two grocers around the block, Killarney National Park just a ten minute walk away from this home. Lots of beauty in this country. Thank you Eileen and Mary for such a wonderful family time for us! We loved your place!!!!!!! The Minnettes from Indiana"

  • Amazing house--great for large or multiple families!

"We (4 adults and 4 teenagers) recently returned from our stay at the Priory. The house is amazing--spacious, comfortable, beautifully appointed and full of character. I should also mention that the wifi was great, which made the teenagers very happy. The Priory is well situated in Killarney, but at the same time it is private and removed from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed exploring Killarney and the surrounding areas by day and returning to the Priory for rest and relaxation in the evening. Tim and Bernie are lovely people and were very helpful with recommendations on numerous fronts. From Dux for the Gap of Dunloe to Dave for the Ring of Kerry, not to mention excellent pub and restaurant options (you must eat at Bricin), their guidance was invaluable. I must also mention that Tim introduced us to the Killarney Brewing Company, of which he is part owner. The beers are really good and readily available in the local pubs in draught and/or bottle. KBC is a nice stop too if you like brewery tours and tastings."

  • Clean, convenient, comfortable, quiet and two minute walk to Killarney

"Donal and Mary are a lovely couple, and went out of there way to be responsive and have the property clean and ready. Mary made delicious biscuits and scones for our arrival, none of which lasted to the following morning's breakfast. Review title sums it up. My family (wife, a couple of the kids, and parents) were comfortable and completely at home. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to any that plan on using Killarney as a base of operations."

  • Beautiful home in a perfect location!

"This was the perfect place to stay for our trip to County Kerry. It allowed us very easy access to the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, and Dingle peninsula (via Slea Head Drive). And, at night, we had a very, very short walk down to the main part of town where there were lots of great restaurants, cafes, pubs, and live music every night somewhere in town. And this was in January! I can't imagine what it would have been like in Summer. Thanks for a great stay!"
