  • Perfectly suited our needs

"Spending a month in Ireland and providing the opportunity for the children and grandchildren to get in touch with their roots has been a long time dream of mine. Tom and Noeline's house in Dingle was the perfect place to make it come true. The home itself was spotlessly clean and roomy enough to provide plenty of space for our large family. We loved the large dining room which was the perfect gathering area. The Hands were great hosts, there to help with any concern we had while giving us privacy to enjoy the surroundings. The location was perfect, just minutes to Dingle town for some of the best shopping, food and music in ireland. It was just a day trip to all of the spectacular Kerry locations as well. Views were breathtaking every place we went. Thank you , Tom and Noeline for all of the assistance before and during our stay. I highly recommend Dunroman ."

  • "Home Away From Home"

"Home away from Home If you are traveling to Killarney and looking for a place to stay, I highly recommend The Priory, Killarney Courtyard Cottages. We have stayed there on two separate occasions, once in An Tigan and last year in Teach Mor and we wouldn’t even think of staying anywhere else. With The Priory, you can choose a cottage that best serves your needs, whether you plan to stay for a few days, a week or a month. All four cottages are self-catering and include many more amenities than you will find in a hotel. The Priory is only about a 15 min. walk to the City Centre, but has the feel of an enclave of country cottages. We stayed in Teach Mor from Aug. 10 to Sept. 14, 2016 and absolutely loved the space and comfort it provided. Aside from the many amenities of this cottage, which include a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, jacuzzi tub, ensuite master bedroom and plenty of high quality towels and bed linens, the location really is perfect. We could easily walk into town and pop into a pub for a pint, {which we very much enjoyed}, but it’s also an easy bike ride in the opposite direction to Muckross House, Muckross Abbey and Torc Falls in the Killarney National Park. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to many tourist attractions including Ross Castle, Killarney House and the Killarney Brewing Company as well as St. Mary’s Cathedral for Mass on Sundays. We loved walking back from a trip to town, turning off of busy Muckross Rd. onto the private secluded lane and listening to the sound of the river. As we made our way back to Teach Mor, we were usually greeted by the “Welcome Waggin”, Oscar and Mazie, the four legged members of the O’Donoghue family. Which brings me to the main element that makes Teach Mor, and The Priory in general, such a wonderful place to stay: the cottages are attractive and comfortable to be sure, but it’s the kindness and personal attention given by Tim and Bernadette O’Donoghue that make The Priory such a special place. Tourists go to Ireland to take in the beauty of the country, but it’s the warmth of the Irish people as demonstrated by the O’Donoghues that keep people coming back! Once you have stayed at The Priory, you will long to return and make it your Irish “Home Away From Home”."

"I won't waste your time...if you are looking for a lovely, quiet, relaxing home with a majestic view, look no further - the people of Ireland are the most friendly in the world - the Dingle Peninsula was Beautiful and Peaceful - the dining was some the best that I have ever had...some recommendations include Ida's, Chart House, Doyle's, Ashes, Global Village, Out of the Blue, Chowder...we never had a bad meal - I was playing catch with a local inhabitant...and I asked, 'Is this Heaven?'...He replied, ' is Tra Cinn Aird'"
