"Een prachtige woning, duurzaam en mooi verbouwd met oog voor detail. Het enige wat wij jammer vonden was dat er alleen maar Ierse tv was en geen wifi. Verder een heel leuke woning."

  • This was a very charming cottage, and we enjoyed our stay immensely!

"When we arrived, it was chilly in the house. We called the caretaker, and even though it turned out that his wife was quite ill he came immediately to be sure things were right in the cottage. He got the heat adjusted and made several recommendations that were helpful. The cottage was well equipped. Our damage deposit was promptly refunded."

  • Beautifully appointed with lovely finishes throughout in the most serene setting you can imagine

"This house/property has it all. If you want to experience Ireland at its best and enjoy the comfort and tranquility of true country charm, you need to look no further. Coming from the hustle and bustle life of Chicago, we wanted a soft landing at the end of our days as we traveled though the winding roads of the "Old Sod". This home provided us with the warm embrace of an old friend. The conclusion of every day was spent around the huge kitchen island where we spent hours laughing, eating and sharing our cherished moments of the day. From the very first second we landed to our early morning departure a week later, we found Lily to be the most attentive and gracious host. It was obvious that she truly wanted us to enjoy a WORRY FREE holiday. The smallest hiccup was quickly addressed by her trusty sidekick, Patrick....who was quick with a smile as he offered his knowledge of the land with a good dose of Irish wit. The location of this house is perfect if you don't mind driving to the many attractions Ireland has to offer. Nothing is more than 2-1/2 hours away. We literally did it all. We kissed the Blarney stone, did the "Ring of Kerry", toured all of Dublin and Galway and I still found the time to propose to my girlfriend at the Cliffs of Moher. But at the end of our daily adventures, we were so happy to walk through the door of our own Kildysart Castle..... We are already planning our next escape."

  • Great stay in December

"We took a trip to Ireland to visit relatives right after Christmas Day. We are two family from San Francisco and Philadelphia with 4 adults and 4 teenagers, so we were looking for places that we could all stay together. Many places were unavailable Christmas week and we were lucky to find this place. It worked out terrifically. We stayed here for 3 nights before moving on to Dublin. My mother-in-law lives about 45 minutes away and she decided to stay with us, so we had 9 people in all. The house is very roomy and comfortable. Adare is a very nice town and is centrally located. We were easily able to do a day trip to the Cliffs of Moher. This house is very reasonably priced if you have a large group of people. Highly recommended!"
