"Just returned from a week at this fabulous Cottage! The setting was perfect, views from every window. The entire cottage was amazing - from the fully outfitted kitchen to the relaxing bedrooms. The town of Dungloe with plenty of pubs and restaurants is close by. If you are looking to escape a busy life and take a break this is the place! You can relax and enjoy the serenity or there is plenty to do if you need full time activity! There is no internet but don't let that stop you - all the pubs have internet for a quick check in. Will return!"

  • Gannon's Apt 1 Review/Barbara July 2016

"As a party of 3 Adults and 2 Children we found this Apartment to be very clean, nicely deocorated and in an ideal Central Location, however anyone considering booking this Accommodation should be made aware of the following; There are 3 flights of Stairs up to this Apartment and no Elevator - this information is not stated in the Property Description on the Connemara Lettings Website. This could prove to be a problem for anyone with limited mobility or perhaps an elderly Couple who might find Stairways a difficulty. From my own experience carrying Luggage up and down these Stairs wasnt exactly an easy task! The Connemara Lettings Website states that their is Underground Parking with this Property, this we found to be untrue. When we arrived we were informed that there was no Parking Facilities (we had 2 Cars) and were were told to use the Onstreet Metered Parking in wherever Spaces we could find available. We were told not to worry about paying for Parking as the Meters were rarely policed however this didnt exactly give us peace of mind that we wouldnt get a Parking Fine on a Daily basis. The biggest inconvenience of all was actually trying to find a Parking Space everytime we returned to the Apartment. Clifden is a very busy Tourist Location with heavy Traffic especially during the day. There were some occasions where we had to park our Cars all the way up the other end of the Town away from the Apartment. The situation re Parking should be made clear to Customers before booking this Property."

  • The home you want!

"Our family have fallen in love with this house. We arrived on a dark, rainy, windy night to a lovely welcome from Brid. This house is simply beautiful. Everything has been well thought out with the games for entertainment, varied selection of DVDs and books. The house is modern, warm, with a fully kitted kitchen with dish washer, filter coffee machine, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. If you have kids you will spend endless hours going upstairs to say 'hi ya' to those below. The views from the house are stunning and the surrounding areas are also amazing - be sure to visit Glenveagh National Forest Park. We will definitely be back to stay :-)"

  • Rural retreat

"Exactly as advertised . Rural farmhouse is remote and peaceful ! Enjoyed local towns of Kiltimagh and Claremorris . Good location for exploring Westport and Galway . Well supplied kitchen . Central heating supplemented by burning peat and coal in fireplace which we really enjoyed ! Very cosy on wet nights ! Low head clearance ( if over 5'10" ) into kitchen . Edwin visited us and was very friendly and hospitable !. Would recommend and would like to stay again."
