  • The apartment was perfect and immaculate.

"This is the place to stay when visiting Dublin. Barry met us and gave us a small tour around the area. It has easy access to the taxis and train station. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. I highly recommend staying here.."

  • If you want a good holiday, you need to stay here

"My wife and I have travelled to many countries with our dog, and stayed in many Holiday cottages, but this must be the most spacious, cleanest, and best equipped that we'eve ever stayed in. (There are 2 TV's and even a foot spar!!!) Add to that the tranquillity and the friendly welcome of Martin and Catherine, and what more could you want. (Hopefully you will get to try some of Catherines home-made scones as well) Highly recommended."

  • Lovely Irish Cottage

"I stayed at Grandad's Cottage with my family for a week in August. The property was exactly what we were looking for. Set approximately 1.5miles up a very quiet lane, the children were able to ride their bikes safely up and down the road. There was also plenty of room to play football in the parking area. A garage at the back of the house allowed us to store our bikes. The kitchen was large with plenty of space and facilities and we were able to invite extra family members over for dinner. During our stay we took advantage of the log burner and had a traditional peat fire using the ample peat made available to us. The beds were all very comfortable and we all slept well during our stay. A very important factor with children! We travelled to Belmullet, Ballina, Achill and Newport, spending time cycling, walking and playing on the beaches. The children learned to surf in Achill and loved it. We took a stunning cliff walk round Erris Head and played on the blue flag beaches. The people in the area were all very friendly and we ended up chatting with the locals on many occasions. James and Beth, the property owners, were very helpful and approachable throughout. Many Thanks for our stay."

  • Review for Property

"I thought this property was cleaned and well kept in a great location. The rooms and bathrooms were a good size. only downside was one of the "king beds" was really 2 twin beds pushed together. Understand they probably do that in case more people rent the place but it was a bit uncomfortable. Overall however the place is great and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful."
