  • Perfect setting, sea and mountain views from every window

"Our family spent 3 glorious weeks at this seaside retreat - and we hated leaving! It sits directly on Tralee Bay at the end of the Maharees peninsula. The fenced yard and swing set were perfect for our young children, the front lawn became our own soccer pitch! Hiking trails and beaches adjoin the property. Since the house sits at the end of the street - it's very private and secluded. No cars. No trucks. No noise! The front porch became the venue for morning coffee and evening cocktails overlooking the sail and fishing boats. We rented the adjacent home for our guests - which worked out perfectly. We'll definitely be back."

  • Very nice place, just needs a little upgrading. Location good for transportation. Floors very loud.

"This place has above average potential if it had a few upgrades. First and most try to rent the up stairs flat. From the ground floor you can hear every step by the above guest. I'm sure this is due to the old building, The place is abit smaller than it appears in the foto butIt has had a very nice upgrade to the bath, however the shower is missing caulking and some mold was present. No real problems! The location is perfect for catching the local transportation with local eateries & food stores nearby. Our on site host (Valerie) was fantastic who knew the area very well and led us in the right direction every time. She checked on us every day to see if we needed anything. The place was very quiet with little traffic. The bed could be improved abit due to its single mattrice but we did sleep pretty well due to the fact we we're extremely tired after a full day of activitys. I would give this place a diamond in the rough."

  • Beautiful view and very well kept cottage

"The cottage was immaculately clean and Sheila who looks after the cottage could not have been more helpful on our arrival. The building is set on the hill and has a lovely view over looking Mulroy Bay. Both it and the garden are very well maintained. The cottage is a short 5 minute drive to the local food shop at Kerrykeel, where there is also a bar and couple of restaurants. The long, beautiful sandy beach at Portsalon is 10 mins drive away and is very unspoiled and great for swimming. Driving north of the cottage takes you up to the Fanad and Rosguill Peninsulas, including the lovely Fanad lighthouse which you can now visit. The whole northern coastline is incredibly spectacular."

  • Upscale, Great & Safe Location, 3 Bedroom Rental

"Matthew and Patrick were very pleasant to work with. Very responsive, flexible and accommodating. The unit was very clean and spacious in a great neighborhood. We felt very safe at all times of day. The kids (7,10,11) all loved it. When you open the back door there is a kid's playground that includes play for toddlers up to 5 years old. Around the block you have a pharmacy, grocery store, theatre, restaurant and you can catch a taxi at one of three nearby hotels. Taxi rides to Temple Bar area are no more than $10E. All the appliances worked including the washer, dryer, and heaters. Also had hot water!"
