  • Villa Giovanna is very beautiful villa with great views from its many terraces.

"The villa is immaculate and very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and there are many sitting areas outside with wonderful views of the coastline and sea. While we were worried about the 80 steps up from the road, they were not a problem for anyone in our group of six active retirees. It's about a 20 minute downhill walk to Amalfi. There is bus and taxi service. The taxis were expensive. Having a current bus schedule is very useful. We were pleasantly surprised to find essential groceries such as coffee, milk, eggs, pasta, etc in the refrigerator and on the counter. There are also fruit trees on the property and a nice grill. Overall Villa Giovanna is a lovely place to stay and we would stay there again."

  • We were a group of 8 and found Villa Eufemia perfect for us

"We were a group of 8 and found Villa Eufemia perfect for us. All the bedrooms were very good, which is unusual in a group share situation. We found the location, just outside the town of Amalfi, to be perfect for visiting other areas on the coast, plus it was not difficult to walk or take the bus into town (you must enjoy walking to make the walk). The owner, Romolo, is an excellent host."

  • Perfect location, Perfect property, Warm Host

"Two couples rented this property for 4 night in early October. Read all the reviews to be able to glean details from each. For us, it was the perfect location from which to explore the coast, and our host Oliver was gracious and helpful both with the property and the region. (Lella was travelling, so we did not get the pleasure of meeting with her.) Other guests used a car service - I drove a 4 door Peugeot wagon, and it is true that you need some bravery and confidence to drive the road along the coast and over the mountains. Lots of switchbacks! I only had to stop and reverse a couple of times to allow the non-budging buses to make the curves - and only brake a few times for the motorcycles to squeeze through small openings. The road is part of the charm!. We parked at Salvator's lot about 200 meters from the steps to Olivers, and it worked out well. We even took a drive to Pompeii for a day trip - something to not miss! So many details have been thought of in the property - read them in other reviews. We primarily used the kitchen for breakfast using the provided foodstuffs, and for a few dinners (of restaurant leftovers) when too tired from the day's activities to go out. We spent a great deal of time in the morning and evening on the terrace overlooking Minori and Maiori - such a perfect view. We decided to take the day cruise on the awesome boat captained by Oliver and crewed by Pietra - so glad we did. Stunningly beautiful scenery and superbly relaxing for our last day. Swam in the crystal blue waters of the Mediterranean for those of us to cared to jump in. How we were able to find such a gem is beyond me. Grateful for the reviews on TripAdvisor to show us the way."

  • Beautiful place and wonderful owner, Adriana!

"We spent four nights at Casa Adrjana and loved the beautiful garden and apartment but the best thing was the owner, Adriana. She is very kind and helpful. Everything you need is in the apartment and she also baked us a beautiful and delicious fruit tart upon our arrival. The bus stop is just a few steps from the apartment and from there you can go to most anywhere on the Amalfi coast. It was a little intimidating at first to take the bus, but after our first trip we easily used it to go to Amalfi and Positano and other spots along the coast. Adriana arranged to have a taxi pick us up at the airport in Naples and take us to the apartment which was very nice. She also arranged for a taxi to take us back to the train station in Naples when our visit was over. I would highly recommend having her do that. We were originally going to try to take the bus from Naples but it was so much less stressful to have a taxi driver pick us up and drop us off at the door of the apartment! The views from the apartment are very beautiful! We would highly recommend this place. Thank you Adriana for making our stay so enjoyable!"
