"Maria est un amour de gentillesse et sa maison est formidable. Notre séjour restera gravé dans notre mémoire. Merci Maria et merci à la petite épicerie d'à côté qui vend une mozzarella du tonnerre!"

  • Beautiful view

"We loved our stay at this beautiful house. The views of the sea are stupendous. The spacious terraces offer sun and shade at all times. The house is clean and has comfortable and attractive furniture. The pool is a delight. Our local contact person, Serena, was charming and helpful, and her husband, Luca, took us on a boat trip to Capri. One drawback is that the next door neighbors have dogs that often bark loudly, sometimes for two or three hours at a stretch. If you rent a car, be sure to get a small one because the driveway is narrow - as are the roads of the Sorrento peninsula and Amalfi coast. Nerano is a small village that is near Sorrento and the towns of the Amalfi coast, but it is somewhat isolated - in a good way. Splurge on a day at La Conca del Sogno, a nearby restaurant and beach club."

  • Beautiful villa

"We recently had a great stay at Villa Gea. Our host was very accommodating to our late arrival, her friend Svetlana who met us to drive down the very steep driveway in the dark, was also helpful connecting us to Chef Carmine who cooked for us at the villa one evening and the boat rental company, You Know, Rent a Boat for a day trip to Capri, wonderful and fabulous recommendations. The highlight of the stay was dining at Il Fienile, the restaurant next door to the villa and visiting with the owner, Luiggi and his son. The restaurant has a large garden adjacent to it and many of the offerings come fresh from the garden. Luiggi sent us home bowls of fresh picked plums both evenings. So delicious! Be sure not to miss the house wine, made by the family and without preservatives so no headaches, an added bonus. This location is certainly tucked away and perfect if you want to be out of the crowded city of Sorrento."

  • Italian Village Holiday

"We stayed in the one bed roomed apartment which was spacious and clean. There was a nice shady terrace and private parking. Next door there is a small village shop which sells everything! We also visited the restaurant on several occasions where we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a view of Vesuvius and watching the sun set over the Bay of Naples, whilst enjoying the home made pasta and pizza, finished off with a glass of Franco's delicious Limoncello. From Schiazzano it is easy to visit Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and numerous other small marinas along the stunningly beautiful coastline. We also visited Herculanium and Pompeii which took just over an hour to reach. There is a bus service from the village but a car is really necessary. The real stars of our holiday were Franco and his family who made us feel very welcome. Grazie Franco and Marzia!"
