  • A GEM

"WOW!!! What a beautiful villa in an equally beautiful location!!! We booked this property based on the description & the wonderful reviews all of which are spot on! We (2 couples) spent a week here & it was fabulous! The villa is very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We especially loved having our morning coffee and evening wine & cheese on the terrace - the views are breathtaking. We took some day trips (including a private boat tour to Capri, a drive to Positano, a hike on the Path of the Gods beginning in Nocelle) and it was always so nice to return to the quietness and charm of Marina del Cantone/Nerano. Other days, we chose to stay close to “home.” There are many good restaurants just a walk away. Termini is a small town just a 10 minute drive from the villa where you'll find Mira Capri (a restaurant with delicious food and a gorgeous view of Capri - go to watch the sunset). Be sure to walk the path behind the villa to the Bay of Recommone...the views are stunning. And thank you, Raffaele, for being a fantastic host! You were always gracious, easy to contact and very helpful both leading up to our trip and during our visit."

  • The most enjoyable stay ever and was perfect!

"I brought my family of 9 from USA to this villa-we rented the entire villa for the week. My wife and I have stayed all over the world. This was our most enjoyable stay ever and was perfect . The view is spectacular-yachts coming and going. The little fishing village of Cantore is as tourist free as you will find. Short (under 20 minutes) boat rides to Capri, Amalfi (Ravello), and Positano). There are hiking trails to other small villages, old forts, and obscure but high scale restaurants. Infinity pool overlooks the sea. But best of all is the food service. The owner goes to market daily and prepares meals each evening based on your order in the morning. Your privacy is guaranted. They have an outdoor pizza oven and if asked will make the best pizza you have ever eaten. The outdoor dining overlooks the Med. Sea. Her daughter Rosa runs the business side and speaks English and is a spectacular assistant, guide, advisor, etc. I would advise you to rent the entire villa if you are bringing your family- much more intimate."

"Overall: This place was amazing on all fronts especially with Tony the owner there to help us. He went above and beyond for us even driving us to dinner one night and grocery shopping for us. The views are breathtaking and the home was clean and had everything we needed. Could not say enough about it. Enjoyed Most: Tony and the view! Plus a Michelin 2 star restaurant that was within walking distance and Tony set up an amazing dinner for us! Enjoyed Least: I'm stretching since we all loved it, but the walk to the beach was a bit farther than expected. It was really hot so that made it feel longer. Very minor though. Surrounding Area: The views, beaches, ability to take a boat to Amalfi, Positano, and Capri. Nearby Events or Locales: Nerano. Yes. Tips or Restaurants: Quatro Passi is a must! Also the beach and restaurant at Conca del Sogno. Directions: We didn't drive. Also, not sure you really need a car. All is accessible by boat, bus or Tony! Check In Out: Although check in and check out are at certain times, check in with Tony as he will do his best to coordinate with the times of your flights for early or late check out."
