  • Stunning & Relaxing in Praiano

"My husband and I chose to stay in Praiano for our honeymoon in late September, and this rental was absolutely perfect for what we needed! We stayed in the bottom La Praia apartment. It was very bright, clean, spacious, and the view from the patio is breathtaking. There is a super market about a 10-minute walk from the apartment, where we were able to buy groceries for the week, including fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, olives and bread. We enjoyed taking our breakfast on the terrace every morning, and left to explore the coast during the days. Once you figure out the bus schedules, it is fairly easy to get around from Praiano. The only thing that could potentially be improved is increased communication about the apartment before you arrive. What it includes, information about the area, etc. but I've tried to include some helpful information below. A couple of notes : - The villa is not accessible by car. When you first arrive, you will meet Lucrezia (the property manager) at the super market Tutto per Tutti. From there, you have a 10-minute walk with your luggage to the apartment. This walk includes a lot of ramps and steps, so it may be easiest to pack light! - If you plan on having American coffee in the morning, I would recommend packing your own. You won't find Americano at the supermarket, but could order at a restaurant or shop. I packed some Starbucks Via packets, and they were perfect for making my coffee to sit on the patio in the mornings. If you have room, I'd also recommend packing a couple of small plastic ice cube trays. We packed a cooler bag for days we went boating or for taking a small picnic to the beach. - Pack or buy beach towels when you arrive, as the apartment only has small towels for showers. - The apartment is fairly stocked with the basics for the kitchen, but it is pretty minimal. If you plan on doing any elaborate cooking or have any specific needs, I would plan accordingly. - DO go to the restaurant Il Pirata near the Marina di Praia. The Marina di Praia has a small beach, and is about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. The view, calamari and rose wine is to die for. I plan to write some thorough reviews about our stay on the Amalfi Coast on my blog at dakotachic.com. Feel free to reach out to me there if you have any questions. We would definitely recommend staying in Praiano and at the Villa Angelina. We loved it!"

  • Great reliable owner.

"We booked this place a few months ago and paid a deposit, but our travel plans ended up changing. We contacted the owner and we quickly got our deposit back with no issues. I would feel very comfortable renting this unit again knowing that we are dealing with honest people."

  • Family from New Jersey

"Dear owner of the beautiful Villa Marianna (Villa Lanterna). We spent one wonderful week in your lovely villa. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring the area. The location of the Villa being so close to both the local shuttle and the yellow bus line gave us much flexibility to go to many restaurants and attractions. The bedrooms had lovely, large comfortable beds and our liaison Savario was very helpful with both our dinner cooked by a local chef and our info for day trips to both Pompeii and Positano. I would love to return again, the town is so tranquil yet close enough to the more crowded Positano, we felt very comfortable."

  • Great views, few draw backs

"Lovely quiet town, gorgeous views, spacious accommodations! Our hostess was lovely, and helpful, recommending places to go. Things to know, the only way to access the place is by climbing over 120 stairs from the street. We had to get our own napkins, toilet paper, etc. it looks as tho there are basics in the kitchen, olive oil etc, but the containers are empty, the hot water is also in short supply. The place is very clean and beautifully situated tho❤️"
