  • Loved the view!

"Photo of this home were right on. The home was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Monica has everything a person would need. We enjoyed the view every morning and evening. We were so busy sightseeing we didn't have much time in the apartment. Next time we will spend more time in the apartment. The parking space was fantastic. Be sure and follow Monica's directions to the property or you might get lost. It was wonderful being a short drive from the busy area of Salerno. Monica and Marion were both so helpful. Marion told us about the train and the ferry and where buy the tickets. They also recommended good restaurants and had many brochures on activities."

  • Great apartment in Salerno

"We arrived at the Salerno train station and followed the walking directions provided by the owner. The walk was 10-15 minutes along the pedestrian esplanade...it wasn't bad despite that most of the walk required pulling our rolling luggage over a cobblestone street. (Tip--when we vacated the apartment, we walked back to the train station via the seaside esplanade as there was a lane that had no cobblestones--much better on the luggage wheels and not much "out of the way"). The owner met us at the designated time and familiarized us with the apartment, which is quite nice and well-appointed. It was a nice surprise to learn that it had a washing machine which came in handy during the week. To gain access to the apartment requires going through two locked outside doors, then a trip up the elevator to the the third floor. We felt very secure there. Because of the apartment's location to the pedestrian area and beach, it does become fairly noisy at night...but we accepted that as part of the charm of the area. (Earplugs helped a lot!) Due to it's proximity to the bus/train station, we found that transportation was not a problem. We took the city bus to Positano one day and to Amalfi another day....the ride along the highway alone was worth the small cost of the bus ticket! We also took a couple of trips to Naples via the train. Depending on the train you take, you can get there in roughly 35 minutes for less than 5 euros per person. There is a grocery store very near as well as numerous restaurants and shops. Overall, we would recommend this very nice apartment!"

  • Very clean and comfortable

"Everything was very clean and no clutter so you have plenty of room for luggage. The renter was very nice and helped with directions. She was very accommodating and easy to contact during our stay. Beautiful view of mountain side. About 10 min drive from downtown winding steep roads but worth the view."

  • Great location and apartment

"We had a great time in this property and in the neighborhood. We were literally next to the Duomo, but in a very safe and secure location. We were able to walk around at night to restaurants and shops and to enjoy the Duomo neighborhood Christmas Decorations, which were beautiful. Parking was more of a challenge in this neighborhood than most, but worked out well in the end."
