It's still pretty pleasant come fall—October often experiences highs of 70 or more. Rimini's a pretty busy place, that's part of its appeal. But if you want to escape to some peace and quiet, there are lots of options, although none are likely as good as Monte San Bartolo Natural Park. Just a 45-minute drive away, this idyllic coastal park features steep craggy cliffs that plunge to the sea and panoramic roads that wind along scenic ridges, offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline and the lush forest. In the park you'll find plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails, where you can enjoy the flowers and the plants, the birds and the wildlife.
