  • Stunning Orvieto Apartment

"It was a pleasure meeting Valerie and her husband when they greeted us at the train station. The location of the apartment couldn't be any better. The view from the apartment windows are amazing. The pictures on the website doesn't do any justice to the modern beauty of this apartment. Very spacious and was impeccable and that is very important to me. The bedrooms very spacious and the bathroom fully accommodating. Orvieto is absoulety stunning and a place to certainly visit. Thank you Valerie for sharing your beautiful home. I will miss Orvieto. AA May 206"

  • Large Apt. In The Medieval Quarter

"We rented this apartment during a 21 day tour of Italy. The location, description, and pictures of the apartment are all a true representation from the owner. The owner, Giuseppe Ricci, was a true Italian gentleman, and pleasure to talk to and deal with. The rental is located in the Western part of the town. It worked out well for us, as we arrived by car. We parked at a large underground lot just outside and down the hill from the city wall, with access to the city by elevator and escalator. The apt. is about a 150 feet down a side street and downhill from the escalator station. The apt has a street level, exterior entrance, with a small porch enclosed by an iron bar gate. The interior of the apt is huge for it's age and by Italian standards. A large living room, with one wall having a sink, fireplace, and a wood fired oven, which leads me to believe at one time this might have been a restaurant. There is a large couch with a foldout bed, which we did not use. There is also a small pool table (kid size), which my daughters tried out, but I didn't. Off the living room is the one real bedroom with a king size bed, pleasantly decorated, and large selection of books on a shelf. The kitchen is a large open space that has a full compliment of pots, pans, plates, utensils, ect. A dinning table with room for 6, also another chair and love seat, and a desk make up the rest of the space. There is also a medium fridge, with a actual freezer, which was rare for us at other places we stayed. Off the kitchen there is a small room that holds a bunk bed, which my daughters enjoyed very much. The bathroom is typical Italian. The shower did feel larger than any other place we stayed. The surprise of this rental is just off the bathroom...the apt is built into the remains of a 2600 year old Etruscan cave...which Orvieto is littered with (do the Orvieto Underground Tour...then tell everyone that your staying at a place that has one in the back!). Note...there is no AC, but because the Apt is cut in the side of a stayed cool during the day. Orvieto is a mostly traffic free town, but some traffic moves by the front, and you will hear it with the windows open. The town of Orvieto is old and wonderful...lots of shops, eats, and attractions...worth 2 full days. Would defiantly stay here again."

  • Inverno a Le Coste

No, proprio no! Per noi sì!"
