  • Wonderful ! Charming, Clean

"The apartment was wonderful, cleaned well, had a variety of spaces and - most importantly - is located centrally to major attractions; very close to the Castell St. Angelo bridge. Leaning out our windows, I could see the first statue on that bridge. 3 small restaurants / sidewalk cafes were just downstairs, all with good service and great Italian food / drinks. Our family rented the apartment for about 2 weeks and greatly enjoyed our stay. Emanuele and Sara, property managers, were always available and very helpful when we needed help. We were met at the property with keys and shown all we needed to know about it. We are all in our 50's - 60's and although the stairs are numerous, they were not an issue. Grazie !"

  • Absolutely Perfect

"Our party of 6 absolutely loved our stay at the Zegno apartment. The accommodations were clean and tidy (a must for optimal enjoyment). The housekeeper is very kind and delightful. He is thorough in his work. The apartment location could not have been more ideal. We walked around day and night feeling quite safe. The feel of the neighborhood will remain in our memories forever! Accordion serenades outside the window on the street below, violin solos by Bach, it was just beautiful! The Spanish Steps and fountain provided such a fun "living room" to hang out on after the sun went down. The owner left a booklet with such wonderful recommendations for restaurants and tours. Ann and Simone are phenomenal. Ann took us on tours to the major sites and was so great with our children. Simone's pizza making lesson at the pizzeria, and cooking lesson in the apartment couldn't have been more enjoyable! Taxis are nearby and very easy to catch. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to truly enjoy Rome."

  • Location Perfect! Tight for 4. Great value!

"This place is ideally located right in the heart of the old city, about 5 minute walk to Piazza Navona, and only 1-minute from the most popular gelateria, Frigidarium! The apartment is very nice, but cramped for 4 people...more like a hotel room with a small cove for cooking. Very nice bathroom. A/C in July was a must and this A/C unit was fair. On third floor, so be prepared to climb some steps. This was a wonderful launching place to visit Rome by foot, and had very easy access to bus for travel to Termini train station. Only a stone's throw from small grocery store. Olivia was a very helpful host and gave us some good tips. Thanks for a great visit! Joel, Kelley, Aidan and Hannah"

  • Great location & plenty of space for 7

"Seven of us stayed here, including 3 teenagers, for 5 days. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and cool off during and after a full day of exploring. Mid-day temperatures were about 100 degrees, so we explored in the morning, had lunch, then rested in the A/C apartment (ie: snacks & vino!), then back out again at night. Excellent location for walking everywhere (it's not near a metro stop). We did use Uber a couple of times to get the 7 of us to farther locations. The apartment is on the 4th floor, which was a bit of a drag, but the upside was that it was quiet. We had a couple of hiccups with the language barrier (ex: canceled wrong transport from the airport), but nothing unmanageable. Very nice location for a big family."
