  • Perfect Apartment for Our Stay in Rome

"Our group of four stayed for 11 days through Christmas. Rome in December, though chilly, is quite nice with less crowds; we only had two days of gray skies and rain; otherwise enjoyed clear sunny weather the entire trip. The apartment was perfect: very clean, spacious, and comfortable, just like it is presented on the website. Having the kitchen to start off our days with breakfast was very nice; likewise having a washer and dryer to do laundry got us through our extended stay. We loved the location just blocks from the Vatican and Castel San’t Angelo. Borgo Pio is a charming little street that offers the convenience of small markets, a pizzeria, a bakery/coffee shop, a gelato shop, and restaurants close by. It was an easy 5 minute walk to catch buses or the Metro to go anywhere in Rome. Silvio was great; very helpful with airport transfers and restaurant recommendations. He was readily available whenever needed. We would gladly return to this apartment on our next visit to Rome and highly recommend it to everyone! Thank you, Silvio!"

  • First Trip to Rome

"We stayed here for five nights on our first trip to Rome. Our intention was to avoid the tourists in the hotels of Rome and get a feel for the locals in the outskirts. The apartment is as described. It is clean, comfortable, and in a safe neighborhood. A queen size bed is in each bedroom. The AC works great and the washer/dryer combo is a plus. It's in the basement of a building and a little tricky to get to but once your are inside it is just perfect. Adequate windows are installed for a pleasant outside view. Showering wash cloths are not provided so if you use one at home you might bring some with you. Transportation is two blocks away for a 15-20 minute Tram ride into central Rome. Barbara, the owner, lives close by and is very helpful if needed. We would stay here again on our next visit."
