  • Nice Quiet Apartment

"Mi scusate, ma e meglio se scrivo in inglese. My wife and I planned a 9-day trip to Rome intentionally planning to not travel to other cities. So, it made sense to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel. This apartment on Viale di Trastevere was just what we were looking for. It was off the beaten path, and as so, was quiet and non-touristy - unlike Trastevere itself. The surrounding area had easy access to public transportation, a "supermercato", bars and a Tabacchai - everything you would need to "set up camp" for a while. The apartment had two bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, and a really nice patio. And though we didn't actually use the patio because of the mosquitoes, with the shudders open, the garden gave us a nice view and plenty of light, which was important because it's on the ground floor. The owners/managers of the apartment were totally accessible and in touch with us throughout the week - even so nice as to give us recommendations for places to eat and how best to get into the center of town. My wife and I would stay here again, without a doubt. If you are looking for an inexpensive option, outside the noise and chaos of the touristy parts of Rome, I would highly recommend this apartment."

  • Highly Recommended!

"Our 5 night stay at Diana's lovely apartment exceeded our expectations and the location was excellent. It was well furnished, had a very comfortable bed, 2 nice bathrooms, 2 terraces, a well equipped kitchen, excellent wi-fi', the building had an elevator and it was a walk of 2 short blocks to reach tram # 8 to take you into the city. It was very quiet and peaceful. There are several take out places within walking distance and we found that so convenient after spending long days exploring Rome. As well, there are ample small grocery and wine stores close by and the open food market at Piazza San Giovanni which is located right across the street from the # 8 tram stop. Diana is a wonderful hostess; she arranged for our pick up at the airport on our arrival and met us at the apartment. She took us around the neighborhood and pointed out restaurants, small grocery stores. etc. and even took us to the TIM store to get a sim card for our cell phone. Diana also arranged taxis for us on 2 different occasions - for our very early morning tour of the Vatican and again on our day of departure to the Avis car rental office. Thank you Diana, you made our trip to Rome so easy. Gerry and Sharon Ferguson Victoria, British Columbia Canada"

  • This house was perfect! It was cozy and easy to access Trastevere and other main parts of the city.

"This apartment was perfect for two people. It was very bright and the landlords were very welcoming and accommodating. They helped us with anything we needed and the place was equipped with everything necessary for a successful stay in Rome! The wifi worked well, the washing machine and dishwasher were effective and everything was organized and clean. I would definitely recommend it."

  • Living like Romans live

"My father and I spent a wonderful 8 days in Barbara's apartment in Trastevere, which being just far enough from the tourist madness in the centre was enough to make us feel like we were living in Rome, rather than just visiting. The location is brilliant as a base for sightseeing, just yards from the tram no.8 which took only 10 minutes or so to get us straight into the historic heart of Rome and it's sights. In the other direction is Roma Trastevere railway station, another major hub to both Termini, the metro and the airport. Barbara was great with communication and very helpful with everything I asked. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great and we were sad to leave our Roman home. Thoroughly recommended for an authentic experience of modern Rome, with the ancient heart of Rome just minutes away - I'd re-book the next time I visit Rome for sure."
