  • Roma Apartment

"We found this apartment very comfortable for two couples travelling together. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms nicely updated. The entrance and courtyard are lovely and we only regret the weather was not better to enjoy it. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk, and the metro a little further so be prepared to do some walking. Unfortunately, we encountered a Metro strike our first day so be sure to have a map of the area in hand when you leave the apartment. We did walk to the Vatican that day but it is a long walk so would not recommend it. Massimo was helpful, arranging airport pickup, as well as a taxi to the train station for our day of departure. The restaurant at the end of the street was perfect for a casual meal with excellent pizza & pasta. All in all, a nice quiet place to stay in a busy city."

  • Wonderful apartment in a fantastic location

"We recently returned from a 4 night stay at the "TRASTEVERE PENTHOUSE "B" in Rome. The apartment was as advertised and was accurately reflected by the pictures in the listing. It was very clean and well maintained (recently renovated), and the roof top terrace was really lovely – the apartment provided everything we needed for our short stay in Rome including glasses, plates, a cooktop and refrigerator, and even a bottle of champagne to start off our visit. As others have indicated, and we expected, the apartment is small with the living area & kitchen downstairs and the bedroom & bathroom upstairs, however we found it adequate for our needs. The location was great and we walked to all of the major tourist attractions, including the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and Coliseum; the only attraction that we didn’t walk to was the Vatican Museums, but that was more because of the heat rather than the distance. Alessio was a fantastic host and provided us with a list of restaurants and stores near to the apartment (he went to great pains to make sure we knew that he did not have any affiliation with the establishment, which I found to be very ethical). He was very helpful and ran (yes, ran) our suitcases up three and a half flights of stairs when we arrived and departed!! He also helpfully arranged a taxi to the airport for us when we departed. It is the small things that can make the difference between an OK stay and a great stay in any apartment, and I think that Alessio really has the market cornered on making sure his guests feel comfortable in their temporary home, so I would characterize our stay as a great stay. He also provided the best orientation to the amenities of the apartment that I have ever had."
