  • Excellent apartment, excellent hosts

"Utterly charming apartment, everything worked perfectly, check-in and check-out very easy, and the hosts were extremly flexible and accommodating with times. The location is delightful: a quiet, atmospheric side street, lots of nice little bars and trattorie nearby, but only 3 mins to the Castell St Angelo, and 10 mins to the Piazza Navona. Our rental was done at extremely short notice, and the owners were fabulously fast and efficient at arranging everything (all emails received replies within 20 minutes). This happened because the owners of the Trastevere apartment we had originally booked, 5 months in advance of our trip (homeaway ref no 6505520), decided to cancel on us, with an implausible excuse and after deleting all their contact details from the site, with less than 2 days' notice. You can imagine our panic, having spent a fortune on trvel for a large family already. It's great that are some excellent landlords out there, like these. Recommend without any reservations!"

  • Very good place to stay

"Perfect location near to Piazza Navona and the Spanish steps overlooking the River, well sized apartment which made for a very comfortable stay in Rome. We enjoyed utilising the Terrace to soak up the sun. Bed was very comfortable and loved how light and airy the apartment was. This could be a 5 star place to stay if it had a deep clean (it was very dusty on our arrival and some kitchen appliances dirty). These are only minor issues and with a little bit of TLC, this could be a wonderful holiday apartment. Check in was quick and easy, check out was a little more difficult. There was some confusion about storing luggage and check out time which meant we waited an hour and half for the cleaner to arrive on our last day to show us where this would be. We had made prior arrangement on check In to leave the bags in the apartment and return later to collect which was then changed. However, these were all manageable issues and the flat was great and I would highly recommend staying here."

  • A Great Place to Stay in Rome!

"This is a wonderful apartment in a perfect location for touring Rome. We recently completed an 18 night stay and enjoyed ourselves tremendously (We actually had stayed here for 2 weeks last year as well). The apartment is well appointed and decorated with nice attention to detail. Enrique is a terrific host--he is extremely responsive to all requests and can also arrange for airport transportation which we definitely recommend. The hosts also provide a very helpful list of recommendations for services in the area. In addition to the restaurants on their list, we also would recommend 'La Fiaschetta' which is nearby with an elevated trattoria menu (salmon with a pistachio crust, filet de manzo(steak) and the spaghetti alla vongole were exceptional) and 'Barnum' which has a Greenwich Village coffee shop vibe for a great lunch or breakfast. The apartment also has a terrace which is a beautiful spot for drinks overlooking Campo di Fiori. There are some steps to access the flat so if that's an issue you may want to look elsewhere, otherwise we highly recommend this apartment and hope to stay here again if we return to Rome!"
