  • Exceeded Expectations With Fabulous Location

"My experience with My Magic Rome and the via dei Cartari apartment we rented could not have been better. We were traveling with another couple and wanted an apartment with two bedrooms with in suite bathrooms for privacy. This apartment fit the bill, plus was in a perfect location for touring Historic Rome and the Vatican. It was just as pictured on the site, high ceilings, white and bright, and well furnished. It was used naturally but not time worn. Everything from WiFi to Kitchen stove worked well with no real issues of any type. The building is historic, it sits on a typical dark alley with one way traffic, (we never felt unsafe) and the steps from the dark lobby to the apartment floor are worn with age, but there are handrails and it is historic Rome after all. The apartment, however, is very modern, with the best air conditioning I have ever felt in Europe. While there is a clothes washer there is only a drying rack but that was still great and very acceptable. We used the dish washer and modern refrigerator daily. The living room area is very large, as is the master bedroom. But the second bedroom is still larger than most hotel rooms. Plus, the wonderful people at My Magic Rome. All correspondence was answered quickly, and we were greeted by Karina and her "Biggggg!" smile. The main street has major bus lines that take you to just about anywhere, and there is a taxi stand nearby. Plus, a bakery on the corner, a pizza shop, and two grocery stores within a block or so. Eating out was never an issue either with numerous choices withing a 5-10 minute walk. Really, for two couples, you could not ask for more. I would rent from My Magic Rome again in a heartbeat, and this apartment as well."

  • Cosy and comfy in a superb location

"A party of 3, we travelled to Rome for my son's 16 birthday and were recommended to stay in the Paradiso Loft by family members. It is in a superb location as is situated just off the Campo De Fiori which has a busy market by day, street artists entertaining you at night with lots of restaurants. From the apartment, you can walk to all the main attractions taking in all the many surprises as you navigate the streets of Rome and there is a lovely delicatessen/supermarket a few doors away enabling us to have fresh pastries/bread for breakfast. There are quite a few stairs from the street up to the apartment and in the apartment itself which is spread over 3 floors which was not a problem for us, but could possibly be for someone with mobility issues. On arrival, we were met by Stella who manages the apartment and she showed us how everything works, so that was really helpful as I would never would have been able to work out how to use the gas, or the 3 different door keys. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had all mod cons. There is also a safe which unfortunately did not work whilst we were there but I did report it to Laura, the owner. We had great communication with Laura and she even arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, and whilst there we asked her if she could arrange one for our return flight as well. We had a wonderful 3 days in Rome and my son said he had the best birthday ever! Thank you Laura & family for sharing your apartment with us."

  • Completely Rome

"We loved loved loved this apartment. I honestly don't know where to start. The location is excellent, the building has so much character and history and the apartment itself is just a European jewel. Everything in this apartment is "top notch", from the paintings on the walls to the furnishings, linens and all the amenities. It is obvious that this owner spared no expense and this is not just a rental unit. We felt like we had our own beautiful home in Rome. All communications prior to and upon arrival went smoothly and the Rome contact was wonderful and very willing to help with anything. I was a bit concerned about the up front deposit because I had an issue with a previous vacation rental but my deposit was refunded promptly without any issue. I absolutely recommend this apartment and cannot wait to return on my next visit."
