  • Perfect!

"This apartment was just about perfect - great location (literally in the heart of the old city), quiet, comfortable, clean, affordable and a caring manager, Alessandro, who was always available to answer any question. It was a thrill each morning to exit the front door and be so close to the Pantheon and Trevi along with many beautiful sights just a few steps away. Despite its central location, the apartment is relatively quiet. The website photos are accurate. The Wi-Fi worked well. The living room is comfortable and the kitchen area was new and beautiful. The bedroom is very quiet with a wardrobe and comfortable bed. The bathroom was all new with good lighting, a hairdryer and an outlet next to the mirror. I will absolutely request this apartment in the future! Marie New Jersey"

  • Great rate on a beautiful apartment on my favorite Piazza in Rome

"Immaculately clean, well appointed, and located across the street from the Pantheon. I mean ACROSS THE STREET. The apartment easily accommodated my wife and I plus our 17-year-old son. The entire apartment has been completely renovated, so the windows are new, the floors are new, the bathroom is new, the kitchen is new. But the building is ancient, and that's a good thing. We took a bus to the Vatican from a nearby square, but were in easy walking distance (20 minutes or less) from lots of other wonderful spots, including Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Roman Forum, Capitoline Museum, Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Victor Emmanuel Monument. We stretched it a little bit and also walked 30 minutes from the apartment to the Galleria Borghese, passing through the Via Veneto to enjoy La Dolce Vita on the way. And, of course, you are 50 yards from the entrance to the Pantheon. Church bells on Sunday morning, Rome's loveliest square at your doorstep, in the city's best location, all accessible from a spic-and-span apartment with a friendly and competent host. We were sorry to leave and can't wait to return."

  • Great location

"We selected this property because of its location and its 5 star reviews. The listing was accurate as were the photos. The location is perfect for walking to most of Rome’s attractions. The property is clean but did show some signs of age. There are several restaurants in the square right outside the apartment and a gelato shop very close by. The soundproofing of the windows is good and the bedrooms are at the rear of the apartment so noise from outside was not a problem. However, the garbage bins and recycling containers are in the hallway of the first floor and noisy. Like many apartments in the old areas of Rome, the electric supply is inadequate. Every night if the four of us got showers, the electrical load of the water heater together with the AC units would trip the main breaker leaving us in darkness. The internet router would reset and we would have to re-enter the 12 digit password. Other apartments we have rented in Rome and elsewhere have come equipped with soap, Kleenex, light continental breakfast items and a bottle of wine to welcome us. We have also often found a folder with maps, directions, local restaurant menus and the owner’s personal recommendations. All we found was a map. The absence of these items made for a less welcoming experience. There are two quiet AC units mounted in a bedroom and the living room. The other bedroom has a large floor standing unit which was very loud even at its lowest setting. It was loud enough that the couple in the other bedroom said it kept them awake. The owner lives on the 4th floor, Lele is the agent. Lele had told us the apartment had a washing machine. When we could not find it we contacted her and found it was on the roof of the building. We found the door to the roof was locked but fortunately encountered the owner the next day who told us she could unlock the roof when we needed to use it. The owner seemed very helpful. The driver Lele arranged for us, Yuri, was surprised that the four adults he was picking up had 4 suitcases (24-26” size) since he had only brought a car with trunk space. We had suitcases on our laps for the drive in. He felt it was my fault because I had not specified 4 suitcases when I booked. I have tried to be informative to renters and helpful to the owner and agent. I would certainly consider renting this unit in the future because of its location. I could not rate it as 5 stars but with a few steps to make it more welcoming it merits 4 stars."
