  • Excellent Experience

"This was our first time to use a VRBO apartment. It worked out wonderfully. Vera was so helpful not only making the arrangements for the apartment, but also for transportation to and from the airport and cruise ship. The apartment was more than enough for the two of us and the location was close enough to walk to most of the major sights in Rome (30 minutes approximately). We most enjoyed the neighborhood because it was not full of tourists. We enjoyed shopping at neighborhood food stores and eating at local restaurants. The price was fair and Vera and Alina's service was excellent. We would stay again."

  • Great place to stay!

"My husband and I stayed at the Archetto apartment in May 2016 for six days and had a fabulous time. The apartment's location is great, right in the middle of everything, around a couple of corners from the Trevi Fountain. The apartment had everything we needed or wanted during our stay in Rome. The kitchen was well stocked and the big refrigerator was nice. Having a washing machine was great and we used it most days. It is small and takes a long time by American standards, but it functions fine. We laid the clothes out on the drying rack on the terrace and stuff dried by the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable, even to a person with fibromyalgia. Some tips: For those who are gluten sensitive or celiac, the restaurant at street level right below the apartment does have gluten free pasta and can accommodate you. This was handy a couple of times when we were really hungry and ready to eat. There is a supermarket several blocks from the apartment (the name is Coop, I think) that we bought stuff at several times. They do have some gluten free foods. We booked Stefano (recommended by Italy Perfect) to pick us up at the airport and give us an overview tour of Rome. It was very good and we got to see some sights not in the city center we wouldn't have gotten to see otherwise. It was nice because he coordinated with Rosie, the woman who we needed to meet at the apartment. Given how tired we were after flying overnight and landing at 8 am, this was really nice. He also got us to and from the cruise ship port after we left the apartment. We recommend him."

  • Honeymoon Experience

"Guiseppe is so friendly and helpful. He made this such a wonderful and easy experience for us traveling abroad. The apartment is in a great location. It is quiet, has lots of room, an AMAZING shower (which is a big thing for American's traveling in Europe). A very comfy big bed for two people. He is very helpful in giving you directions and reviews of places that are important. We had a wonderful honeymoon in this apartment."

  • Great location and great host!

"My husband and I had an excellent stay at this property. Giuseppe was a great host... responsive and professional before and during our stay. Met us the moment we arrived and was thorough in his review of the area. He made great restaurant suggestions, and booked our return transport to the airport for us which was greatly appreciated and made for a very smooth departure. Apartment itself is great! Very comfy bed, clean and secure. Location is the best! Walking distance to all the major highlights of Rome, yet secluded and quiet. Just a few blocks from Piazza Navona and so many other highlights. Taxi station right around the corner if needed. As other reviewers have noted, the stairs could be prohibitive for some... 60+ steps. But it was well worth it for us. A few suggestions would be to have an electric drip coffee maker available (I'm partial to an american cup of coffee in the morning), a few champagne glasses, some additional bath towels, and maybe paper towels or a kitchen towel or two. The bed was wonderfully comfortable but a few extra pillows would have been welcomed as well. I still give the property 5 stars as these were minor things and I'm certain if we had asked Giuseppe while there he would have done his best to accommodate our requests, but we didn't want to bother him with what seemed minor compared to the whole experience. I would absolutely book this property again. Or would consider one of Giuseppe's other properties if this one was not available. He was truly a pleasure to deal with and takes great pride in his properties and the comfort of his guests. Thank you for a fabulous stay in Rome Giuseppe!"
